On behalf of Bd&e Events, and all my colleagues, I am delighted to welcome you
to our flagship annual conference and exhibition, Bridges 2019.
In addition to the excellent exhibition of specialist companies dedicated to the
bridge industry, ahead of you awaits a day packed with stimulating presentations
and networking opportunities. Whether you own, design, build or manage
bridges, the high-quality presentations in this year’s varied programme will
provide great learning points. This, coupled with ample opportunities to meet
fellow professionals, should lead to some interesting discussions on the latest
technologies and recent bridge-related developments both in the UK and abroad.
Now in its 27th year, Bridges 2019 owes much of its success to its ongoing
partnership with key organisations such as the UK Bridges Board, the Bridge
Owners Forum, ADEPT and IHE, as well as our specialist in-house highways Contents
and transportation publications. These strong ties have enabled the event
to establish itself as the UK’s only annual conference and exhibition solely
dedicated to the bridge engineering sector.
