   •    Reach out to her if you need more information to get

 Connecting the Community: JewishColumbus partners with the JCC

JewishColumbus kept the doors open to the JCC after COVID-
19 hit. This was important because the JCC nourishes spirit,

19 has prevented some of their usual Kosher lunch
programming, the JCC has adapted to continue serving Jewish
seniors in the area with their drive through Kosher LifeCare
Alliance lunch. This is just one of the ways that their
commitment to serving the community remains steadfast.

Helping Seniors: JewishColumbus

                                                                     One of my favorite residents
                                                                     greeted me on screen with a
                                                                     big smile. At the end of class,
                                                                     I could feel the room was
                                                                     more happy, and peaceful. A
                                                                     resident commented, “This is
                                                                     just what I needed today. It is
                                                                     good that we are together
                                                                     and we miss you so much.” I
                                                                     couldn’t hold back my tears.
  Wexner Heritage Village (WHV) offers residents Urban Zen
  Integrative Therapy classes. Residents love the smell of
  lemon oil on a cotton pad, which bring back memories of            – Lori Moffett,
  lemonade made by their moms. Residents also love Reiki,            Urban Zen Integrative Therapy
  which is a light touch that brings balance and stability to        Program Director at WHV

  laughter, connection, smiles, and moods are always lifted.
