What we’re all about

    “And do good; indeed, Allah
    loves the doers of good.”
    [Quran 2:195]
At GIM Foundation, we’re dedicated to ending
global poverty and creating a world where
everyone has the opportunity to thrive.
In line with our Islamic values, we believe that
all lives are sacred and all people have the
right to live a life of dignity and opportunity.
We believe the only way communities can
flourish is when they have access to basics
like food, clean water, healthcare, education
and the opportunity to make a sustainable
income. We have seen that with the right
tools, people can improve their own lives and
    thrive.

Our focus We put communities at the heart of our work because we know that unless entire communities
are empowered to support themselves, we cannot end poverty. We work with the most vulnerable
communities globally – in places like Togo, Ghana, Burkina Faso, Cambodia, Pakistan and Lebanon –
to address areas of need including health, education, water and livelihoods.

Our impact so far
For almost a decade, we’ve worked in the most remote areas in Africa where, with your help, we’ve made a meaningful impact
through community-led projects in education, water and sanitation, economic empowerment and health.

  Alhamdulillah, thanks to your

  In 2021, we’ve partnered with
  reputable organisations all over

need assistance most – in places
  like Syria, Yemen, Lebanon and
  Palestine (Gaza and the West
