PROPERTY HISTORY
Castle Cottage was Beatrix Potter’s private home
with her husband William Heelis until her death
in 1943 and the property was entrusted to The
National Trust in 1946.

Beatrix Potter’s outdoor WC (feature not in use)
and a store with a stable door.
