Christmas House Party 2019
Enjoy a traditional Christmas in the setting of this elegant “William and Mary”
country house with its open fireplaces and carolers, standing in its own grounds
on the outskirts of the historic City of York, with plenty of time to explore the
countryside, or relax in the Spa or in a quiet corner of the hotel.
On Christmas Eve an afternoon tea buffet Drawing Room, with a service of tea, coffee
will be served in the Drawing Room and mince pies. In the evening, guests will

TERMS & CONDITIONS FOR CHRISTMAS AND NEW YEAR BOOKINGS:
Written confirmation and a deposit of 50% of the booking is required to secure a reservation. Deposits cannot be refunded for
accommodation cancelled after 1st November 2019 and full charge is liable to be made for a cancellation after 1st December
2019. We would advise insurance against loss of deposit due to illness. A separate bill for extras such as bar drinks, wine and
telephone calls will be presented on departure.Welcome in the New Year at Middlethorpe Hall & Spa
On New Year’s Eve the Middlethorpe Hall buffet of afternoon tea delicacies
will be served from 3:30 pm. The evening will start with a Champagne and
canapés reception accompanied by a harpist from 8:00 pm, to be followed
by a magnificent six-course black-tie gala dinner especially designed by
Ashley Binder, Middlethorpe Head Chef. Welcome in the New Year with
a firework display (weather permitting) and dance to the tunes of a Jazz
Band until the early hours. A light consommé and sandwiches will be served
around 1:00 am.On New Year’s Day enjoy a leisurely Bloody Mary breakfast/
brunch served from 9:30 am.
