Is there anywhere more resplendent than Alexander House at
Christmastime? With the crackle of open fires, and the scent of
pine and spice in the air our grand Jacobean mansion glitters with
the excitement of the season.
From cosy, long lunches by the fire in Reflections to getting
the whole team together for a celebration of a great year in our
ballroom, The Shelley, we have many and more ways for you to
mark the holidays.
For maximum cosiness, we are delighted to introduce ‘APRÈS’, a
Ski-inspired dining experience taken in our re-imagined Chalfont
Suite. We suggest you get your skis on and book up - it’s sure to
sell out.
With 58 extravagant and luxurious rooms & suites (and not least
our 2-bedroom residence, The Gatehouse), there is plenty of
space to stay the night too and enjoy a recovery breakfast the
following morning.

APRÈS is a unique dining destination in Sussex.
Inspired by the Alps and the style of Ski, we bring you the
flavours and style of après-ski to the reimagining of our
private room, The Chalfont.
Get cosy with up to 10 friends in our Winter wonderland and
tuck into an Alpine feast. Apres is yours exclusively for the
afternoon / evening.

Take over the whole of the Shelley & Wakehurst Suite and
party like there’s no tomorrow.
Perfect for larger gatherings of up to 90 guests - and if
you’re quick, our Party Night dates could be available just
for you too.
Tickets include a glass of Prosecco on arrival, three-courses
from our Festive Feast menu, Christmas novelties and of
course our House DJ to get you dancing till late.
Table wine ordered in advance available at preferential prices
Sunday – Thursday (minimum of 50 guests) £45 per person
Friday & Saturday (minimum of 70 guests) £55 per person
SLEEPOVER
All guests enjoying our party menus are invited to make
a night of it, with very special rates to stay over in our
luxurious rooms. All rates include a full recovery breakfast
the following morning, and spa access can be added for £20
per person.

Throughout December, you can add a little all-spice to

the evening.
