Enjoy some quality time with all the family, play a round of golf, and take advantage of our extensive leisure facilities. We will also make sure that you are well fed with scrumptious meals included! You can choose from a three or 4 night package DECEMBER 23RD You will be warmly welcomed on your arrival – but make sure you get here early afternoon so that you have time to indulge in a warming sherry and mince pie. You’ll have a few hours to familiarise yourself with the hotel and our 262 acres of stunning grounds – you could even book a round of golf on our championship course or treat yourself to a luxury treatment in our spa. In the evening, join us in the restaurant for a delicious three-course dinner from our three-choice menu and for a spot of light entertainment from our fabulous pianist. CHRISTMAS EVE After a leisurely breakfast you have time to discover the beautiful Cheshire countryside, visit the gorgeous spa town of Buxton, which is just 11 miles away, or even take a drive into Manchester for some last-minute shopping. Or you could just relax! If you are with younger guests, return late afternoon for the highlight of the day: an early evening moonlit walk to meet Santa who will have an early gift for each child. Afterwards, sip on a warming glass of spiced mulled wine while you listen to our local carol singers. In the evening, join us in the restaurant for dinner where you will sit down to an exquisite three-course meal from a three-choice menu. If you wish, make your way to Pott Shrigley church for midnight mass (transport not included). A delicious hot chocolate will welcome you back to the hotel.
CHRISTMAS DAY After you have exchanged gifts with your loved ones, join us for a celebratory Bucks Fizz breakfast. Then, the morning is yours to enjoy. You could go for a stroll, or take our Oakridge Woodland walk in our 262 acre grounds (you may be lucky enough to spot the deer – we have two herds on site). Return to the hotel for lunch, where you will feast on a three-course, traditional set menu with all the trimmings. Afterwards, Santa will arrive to give the children a small gift. Spend the afternoon at your leisure – you can watch the Queen’s speech in the Courtyard Bar, settle down in front of a real log fire and we’ll continue the festivities with coffee and mince pies. Finish the day with our Hot Fork Buffet with the option of joining in our festive quiz. BOXING DAY After enjoying a relaxing full English breakfast, the day belongs to you. You could discover the Peak District with its quaint villages or uncover a bargain at the Trafford Centre sales. If you want to relax at the hotel, book a session on our 6 hole par 3 Oakridge course, crazy golf or pamper yourself with a beauty treatment or a relaxing swim.
