Too much going on in December? Left it too late to book your office party or family get-together? Don’t
worry – we understand how hectic the festive season is, which is why we celebrate Christmas right through
January, too. And what better way to stave off those January blues than with a great party?
The traditional Christmas party nights here at The Shrigley Hall Hotel mean that you can still enjoy a real

let us do all the hard work (and the washing up) for
you! What could be more relaxing than having our

You will be warmly welcomed on your arrival, but make sure you get here early afternoon so that you have
time to indulge in a warming sherry & mince pie. You'll have a few hours to familiarize yourself with the
hotel and our 262 acres of stunning grounds, you could even book a round of golf on our championship golf
course or treat yourself to a luxury spa treatment. In the evening you'll join us in the restaurant for a
delicious three course dinner from a choice menu with fabulous entertainment from our pianist
CHRISTMAS EVE
After a leisurely breakfast you have time to discover the beautiful Cheshire countryside, visit the gorgeous
spa town of Buxton, or even take a drive into Manchester for some last minute shopping, or˜just relax!
If you are with younger guests, return late afternoon for the highlight of the day: an early evening moonlit
walk to meet Santa who will be bearing a gift for each child,˜ Afterwards enjoy a warming glass of mulled
wine whilst you listen to our local carol singers
In the evening, join us in the restaurant, where you will sit down to an exquisite three course dinner. If you
wish, make your way to Pott Shrigley Church for midnight mass. A delicious hot chocolate will welcome

After you have exchanged gifts with your loved ones, join us for a celebratory ˜Bucks Fizz breakfast. Then the
morning is yours to enjoy. You could go for a stroll or join our organised nature walk. (you may be lucky
enough to spot the deer! we have two herds on site)
Return to the Hotel for Christmas Lunch, where you will feast on a delicious three course, traditional menu
with all the trimmings! Spend the afternoon at your leisure, you can watch the Queens speech in the
Courtyard Bar, settle down in front of the fire and we will continue the festivities with coffee & mince pies.
Finish the day with our hot fork buffet & join us for˜our festive quiz!
BOXING DAY
After enjoying a relaxing full English breakfast, the day belongs to you. You could discover the peak district,
with its quaint villages or uncover a bargain at the Trafford Centre Sales. If you want to relax at the Hotel,
book a session on our 6 hole par three Oakridge course, crazy golf or pamper yourself with a spa treatment
or a relaxing swim. Join us in the afternoon for Shrigleys Tea Dance with mince pies & sherry.
Then finish the celebrations with dinner & entertainment in the evening.

After all the fun of the last few days, reflect on your stay over breakfast, then its farewell for˜now but make

NEW YEARS EVE
Our overnight guests will enjoy a leisurely breakfast and have the day to relax, while awaiting the arrival of
their fellow visitors. Join us for an early evening reception where you will enjoy a Sparkling drinks reception
and a selection of delicious canapes for "A Winters Tale" themed evening
You'll sit down to sumptuous four-course meal followed by coffee and petit fours and afterwards dance the
night away when our resident DJ plays the best tunes around. At midnight, its time to welcome in the New
Year.
NEW YEARS DAY
Enjoy a leisurely breakfast on the first day of 2019. For those guests staying on with us why not relax and enjoy
the surroundings by booking 18 holes on our championship course or 6 hole par 3 course or enjoy a spa

1. Party Night events are subject to demand exceeding the minimum numbers required to proceed with a successful event, if not,
alternative dates with availability may be offered.
2. A £10 deposit for each guest is required within 10 days of making your party reservation in order to guarantee your booking. Deposits
are non-refundable or transferable.
3. The final balance is due four weeks prior to your event. If you make a booking within four weeks of arrival you will need to pay the full
balance straight away.
4. All accommodation must be fully pre-paid at the time of booking. All payments are non refundable, please ensure everyone in your
party is aware.
5. You can add to your booking at any time (subject to availability), but if you need to reduce numbers, you will not receive a refund and
your deposit cannot be transferred to cover drinks, accommodation or any other services.
6. If we have to cancel a party or change the entertainment, you will be informed and will be offered an alternative event or a refund.
7. You will be given a separate contract for bookings of over 60 guests.
8. Table lay-outs, table sizes and room plans are at the discretion of the hotel, as this is impacted by numbers attending each event.
9. Every effort will be made to accommodate specific requests but guarantees are not possible.
10. If a specific pre-ordered wine is unavailable, you will be offered a suitable alternative.
11. Bedrooms will be available from 3.00pm on the day of arrival.
12. All prices include VAT at the current rate.
13. All bookings are subject to availability.
14. If the hotel is to be sold or control of the hotel is to change before the event, the hotel will always seek to ensure that an incoming
owner commits to honour existing bookings. That being the case the hotel will specifically inform any incoming owner of the booking
made under this contract and will take all reasonable steps to ensure that the new owner commits to honour it.
15. Menus published in the brochure may be subject to change.
Dietary requirements – If you would like any information on allergens contained within any of our menu items, please speak to a member
of staff who will be able to assist you.
Liabilities – The hotel shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing any of its obligations under this agreement or liable to an
attendee or guest for any loss or damage to property if the failure or delay was due to any cause beyond its reasonable control.
Room allocation and seating arrangements – Unless stated in the brochure the party location will be determined by the hotel. We reserve
the right to split larger parties into smaller groups or smaller parties to be joined with other groups, the table plan for the night will be
decided by the hotel, dependant on final number for each function. We reserve the right to change the specific room location of an event
if necessary, while still providing the menu and entertainment listed.
Pricing – The hotel reserves the right to increase the level of VAT subject to legislative increases. All prices include items as described in
this brochure, although menu substitutions are possible depending on availability of ingredients.
Timings – Dinner service will begin promptly so please arrive in good time so as not to inconvenience other guests.

All rates in this brochure are subject to availability on new bookings only and cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer. Rates
are ‘from’ rates and will fluctuate based on demand. Blackout dates and single occupancy supplements might apply. Children are
welcome over Christmas & New Year but restrictions are in place for some New Year’s Eve events, for full details of our children’s festive
season policy please contact the hotel directly.
Christmas & New Year packages require a 50% deposit at time of booking, full balance is due by 31st October 2018. Bookings made after
this date require full pre-payment. Restaurant opening times vary. If an unexpected event causes you to cancel your Christmas or New
Year package, you’ll get a full refund provided we receive your cancellation in writing before 31st August 2018. If you cancel in writing
between 1st September 2018 and 31st October 2018, we will
refund you 50% of any money paid. If you cancel after 1st November 2017, no refunds will be given but you could transfer the booking to
a friend.
