Bournemouth
The Norfolk Royale Hotel is situated in the centre of Bournemouth.
We are a few steps from all the nightlife, entertainment and leisure activities
that the town is renowned for. Not to mention shopping! Bournemouth
has all the high street favourites and nearby Castlepoint Shopping Park
will be full of Christmas sale bargains.
It may be a little chilly during December, but our award-winning blue flag
beaches are just a half mile walk from the hotel through Bournemouth’s
beautiful gardens, perfect for a bracing stroll before lunch or afternoon tea.
Water sports fans love Poole Harbour, the conditions are perfect for
windsurfing and jet skiing. Just west of Bournemouth is the stunning
World Heritage coastline, with romantic locations such as Durdle Door
and Lulworth Cove attracting admirers from all over Europe and beyond.

Christmas Package
Christmas Eve Eve - 23rd December
Arrive at your leisure and be greeted warmly by our team. A delicious festive Afternoon tea, including
scones, strawberry jam and clotted cream, will be served between 2.00pm and 4.00pm. Pre-dinner
drinks will be served in the lounge from 6.00pm where you will have the opportunity to meet your
hosts and fellow guests, before enjoying a sumptuous 3 course dinner, followed by the evening’s
entertainment.
Christmas Eve - 24th December
Start your Christmas celebrations with a Full English breakfast, served from 8.00am until 10.30am.
The day is yours to enjoy, relax in our lounge perfect for a fresh cream topped hot chocolate for those
that have a more competitive streak, a good old game of Scrabble and other family favourite board
games. Should adventure take your fancy, enjoy a walk along the sea front and Jurassic coast. Return
in time to enjoy our festive afternoon tea buffet, served in the lounge from 2.00pm to 4.00pm. Your
evening awaits. Join us for our Champagne and canape reception at 6.00pm accompanied by carols
in the lounge before heading through to enjoy our festive culinary flavours for dinner. The dress code
is posh frocks and dark suits (black tie is optional). As the evening draws in and the curtains close
relax or dance to the evening’s entertainment. All our younger guests will receive reindeer food and
‘Santa stop here! signs to take to bed with them to ensure Mr Claus and his team are well fed for their
busiest night of the year. If you’re heading out for midnight mass nearby, there will be mince pies and
tea waiting for you on your return.

Christmas Day - 25th December
Its Christmas! The opportunity to enjoy and celebrate a truly magical day, shared with family and
friends. Our very own team of Christmas Elves are dedicated to ensuring you are having the most
wonderful stay – there is simply no need to lift a finger.
Starting the day with a hearty Bucks Fizz breakfast, between 7.30am and 10.00am, then its then over
to you to carry on with the all-important unwrapping of gifts and other holiday traditions. From midday,
a reception of chilled Champagne will be flowing, prior to a sumptuous, traditional festive lunch with all
the trimmings.
The Restaurants will open at 12.30pm and reservations are required for dining; you will also be offered
the opportunity to pre-arrange your favourite wine selection. A special afternoon appearance from
Mr Claus has been arranged in the lounge to give personal presents to all our young children. Her
Royal Majesty the Queen will commence her annual speech from 3.00pm, make yourself comfy in our
television bar area and enjoy some freshly brewed tea, coffee and Christmas cake.
Like all good Christmas Days, we haven’t finished with the indulgence yet. From 7.00pm, a plentiful
arrangement of decorated cold meats, fish platters and much more will be presented in a buffet
service. Take your time, there is no rush, just sit back and enjoy the evening’s entertainment.
Boxing Day - 26th December
After enjoying a Full English Breakfast, between 7.30am and 10.00am, let Boxing Day shape up as
the mood takes you! Spend the morning at your leisure: walking along the beach, taking in the sights
or visiting the sales. After our Boxing day Carvery lunch served from 12 noon, enjoy the pantomime
matinee at the Pavilion Theatre, returning to a warming pot of tea and the cake buffet. As the evening
closes in join us for dinner and the evenings entertainment.
27th December
Before we wish you a fond farewell, enjoy a hearty breakfast in the restaurant before travelling home.

Join us for our house party. With numerous guests both new and returning visitors,
this is the annual social gathering not to be missed! Expect an abundance of glitz,
flowing Champagne, exquisite menus and entertainment, coupled with the night of all nights:

30th December
Arrive at your leisure and be greeted warmly by our team. A delicious festive Afternoon tea will be

New Year’s Eve - 31st December
Lets do it! New Year’s Eve should surely be a day of leisure and a spot of pampering. Enjoy a
Full English Breakfast served from 8.00am, after a leisurely morning, join the outing to the
pantomime in the afternoon returning to a tea and cake buffet in the lounge.
Dress to impress with your finest black tie and evening gowns for a classic Champagne Reception,
followed by a grand 6 course gala dinner. Dance the night away to the evening’s entertainment.
Don’t forget to order your Champagne before joining a rendition of Auld Lang Syne to welcome
2021 in style! Finish your evening off with a bacon roll served at 1.00am.

New Year’s Day
1st January 2022
What will you choose – reinvigoration or quiet contemplation? After a relaxed English breakfast
served from 9.00am until noon why not enjoy a stroll along Bournemouth beach or venture a bit
further to the Jurassic Coast and embrace the Dorset breeze! Alternatively take time out to sit
and read in the lounge with a fully loaded hot chocolate or take a leisurely swim in the pool before
indulging in the cake buffet from 3.00pm. Dinner will be served from 6.30pm followed by a relaxing
evening enjoying the evening’s entertainment.
2nd January 2022
Wake up leisurely in your stylish bedroom and leave feeling wonderfully refreshed after
enjoying a hearty breakfast in the restaurant before travelling home. Why not stay a bit longer and
enjoy our sunday carvery from only £10.95 per person before traveling home.

Its time to escape, kick back and recharge – especially if you’ve been hosting the festivities so far!
Twixmas: The period between Christmas and New Year. Some see this period as just waiting
for the New Year to arrive. At the Norfolk Royale it’s an opportunity to avoid the masses and
enjoy some well deserved relaxation.

The perfect opportunity for you to extend your stay with us or to arrive a day or two
before all the razzamatazz of the New Year begins.
Alternatively, this might be time for you to escape, kick back and recharge for a couple of days
