CLASS III
“Winter months are oh so cold;
Soups and cupcakes are the way to go.”
Students eagerly wait for winter vacations and come afresh to the school rejuvenated. To keep up with the energy and zeal, the
online teaching for grade III was taken up from 10 th Jan 2022 – ”31st Jan 2022. To explain and elucidate the contents, the students
were facilitated by the teachers with assignments, notes, presentations, YouTube links, PPT’s etc. The academic activities were
designed with the motive to ensure that we articulate our learning goals of achieving FLN (Foundational Literacy and Numeracy).
To assess the learning outcomes, various parameters like oral work, vocabulary sheets, critical thinking sheets, integrated projects,
subject enrichment exercises and critical thinking worksheets were used as resource material for an effective and efficient teaching
learning process. The school reopened after winter break on a bright note. The timings were rescheduled and the classes began
from 8:30 am. The online teaching continued with great zeal. Students engrossed themselves in the classes.
Following activities were done during the month:
• Bhasha Sangam: 22 official languages were introduced with the help of videos.
• Celebration of Special days:
➢ National Youth Day- “When I grow up”- students made a video and shared the same as an assignment.
➢ Netaji’s Birth Anniversary- Making of posters on our beloved Netaji.
➢ Republic Day- An online quiz was organised and questions related to the Republic day were checked upon.
➢ Martyrs Day- A special assembly was conducted to pay tribute to our unsung heroes.

creative and latent talents and skills come to the surface. They were guided to complete the assignments in their respective note
books and upload the holiday homework in your respective subject’s channel before the due date.

Glimpses of the Holiday Homework
Parent Teacher Meeting
Parent Teacher meeting was conducted on 6th Jan, 2022 using MS Teams App. Parents who attended
the PTM acknowledged the information regarding the integrated project uploaded on school website.
Information was given about holiday home work, a series of activities designed and integrated with
various subjects. Parents appreciated the thoughtfully – planned winter holiday homework designed,
targeting the critical and creative thinking of students. Parents also appreciated the hard work of
teachers and school management towards online teaching. All the questions of all subjects were
discussed were explained to the students to help them do the assignments independently.
