Your feelings are important! If you are
overwhelmed, stressed, or anxious, everything
becomes out of balance. Here are some ideas
to help you achieve balance.
Relax – take deep breaths
Be Mindful – be aware and IN the moment
Get enough sleep, eat well, and exercise
Spend time with friends and family – go
for a walk together
Talk to your parents, friends, counselor –
reach out for help
Balance – noun - “an even distribution of
weight enabling someone or something Think positive – positive self-talk really
does help
to remain upright and steady”Academic and Personal/Social Support If you are struggling in your classes - reach out for help. If a friend is struggling, encourage them to ask for help. Talk to your teachers, counselor, parents, and friends. Attend free tutoring in the library after school Monday through Thursday and the subject specific Help/Enrichment centers. Speak with your counselor about other intervention opportunities that are available. If you are struggling emotionally, reach out to an adult - your parent, your counselor, a teacher, or your AP. We ALL want you to succeed. Help us help you by reaching out.
