CLEANEVENT CORONAVIRUS HEROES
This month we have had an increase in nominations, reflecting how passionate our employees
are out on the front line. CleanEvent Services would like to recognise heroes amongst our em-
ployees who are out and working with current and new clients during the pandemic across our
venues. We value and appreciate all staff contributions and hard work, below are the winners of
the employee of the month programme. The winners have been nominated by their manager and
recognised by our valued clients. Award winners in May were drawn from our across all our re-
gions in CleanEvent Services. Thanks to all who have been keeping our venues, training centres,
shopping malls, colleges and hospitals safe and hygienically clean in these difficult times.
LIVERPOOL FC
Louise Kenny—Employee of the Month May 2020
“Louise Kenny has worked around numerous sites, she has
been really flexible in the hours she is doing. At the moment
she is doing split shifts most day and weekends. Louise has
shown great dedication and leadership skills, she has been a
welcomed addition as the Supervisor for Melwood and the
Academy.”

WEXHAM HOSPITAL Maire Buckiniene –Employee of the month May 2020 Client Feedback “At Wexham Hospital, Maire Buckiniene – has received great feedback from the Clinical Practice Educator - Allane Divisional Ops Mgr “I myself observed her today and was very impressed with her attention to de- tail and quality of her cleaning. The staff on the ward also had nothing but good today about Maria and the work she has done. She has been literally on her hands and knees cleaning every nook and crannie, polishing, duting etc!! I have spoken to Marie and thanked her for the amazing job that she is doing – we need to clone her !!” Elida Preece Clinical Practce Educator BIRMINGHAM FC I nominate the Cleaning Team at BCFC Wast Hills Training ground facility. 3 members of staff, Samantha Saunders, Supervisor, Anthony Swain and Leanne Goss have worked all the way through the lockdown, never missing a shift, re- duced shifts, carrying out a full deep clean and sanitisation of the complex. Being complemented on the SPARKLING condition of the facility by the Head Physio- therapist upon the players return .They have varied their shift patterns to accom- modate the clients requirements and been flexible to mine and the clients, some- times unusual requests Great team Richard Lee Venue Presentation Manager
EASTGATE
Damian/ Piotr & Pawel
Eastgate would like to nominate Damian Matys, Pawel Augustyn and Piotr Sypka the three
cleaning staff remaining onsite who are now responsible for the building cleaning. They have
fastidiously hand cleaned the escalators in the currently closed side of the centre between all the
other work required onsite and have shown real dedication towards going the extra mile for the
centre and adding value. The client operations manager commented that
they look like they are brand new, an amazing feat for 17 year old equip-
ment.

Margaret has been working at the ACC Liverpool helping support our client who has
been providing the use of the venue to a local charity who have
been putting together thousands of food parcels to be dispersed
around Liverpool to families most in need

Carl is the Security Supervisor at Coopers Square Shopping Centre, and throughout this
pandemic he has shown leadership and drive in leading not only the security team at
Coopers Square but also assisting his Regional Manager with the Cleaning Operations and
FM side of the business.

The finished food would go out each
morning when a refrigerated wagon
came to collect it and then a fleet of
vehicles would pick it up and send it
on its way around London – to the
NHS, to vulnerable people and to
care homes.
That’s 8000 meals going out to peo-
ple who don’t get a meal, who are
either starving or go to bed without a
hot meal and that’s an achievement
in itself, but what’s incredible for me
is the people – those in the kitchen.

(Compassion UK) Wembley National Stadium along
with its pivotal key operators such as ourselves at
CE, have tireless volunteered 7 days a week PRO-
DUCING 180,00.00 meals to front line workers. To
ensure the home of football is able to provide the
much-needed support required for Compassion UK
to do what they do best….
Many external volunteers aided CE , however I
would like to recognise Rojina, Darshan and Sushma
for all their efforts

HEAD OFFICE
I would like to nominate Helen for all her
efforts in processing payroll for our company
of over 1000
employees. This is not a simple task, it in-
volves hours worked, furlough, holiday accru-
als and HMRC
submissions working to deadlines to ensure all
our staff are paid punctually and correctly as
best we can.
Helen is very thorough in her work to ensure
all information is captured. Thank you for all
your efforts.

I would like to nominate Belinda for her efforts in HR and
the operations of head office. Belinda has
supported payroll thorough the processing of Furlough ,
whilst completing all the administration and tracking of all
Furlough communication to staff. Maintaining head office
operations including transitioning the office to be compliant
as per the government guidelines for social distancing and
sanitisation. Thank you for your efforts
