A Letter From Us to You

 Dear Community Partner,

On behalf of the Community Foundation Board of Directors we invite you to join
the Center for Nonprofit Excellence for 2019. In our fifth year housed at the
Community Foundation, we are dedicated to improving our community by
increasing the effectiveness of nonprofit staff and directors. We work with
organizations at any development stage and we are committed to working with
 nonprofits of all sizes.

Please find enclosed the membership benefits for the upcoming year. There are
several new benefits this year including the Board Academy training and the
Nonprofit Council, a collaboration with the Greater Gainesville Chamber and the
local United Way. You will also notice that our most valued and popular benefits
have remained the same, while the membership rate decreased. We will still be
offering our monthly trainings and quarterly nonprofit socials.

The most exciting news coming in 2019 is our first Better Together Collaboration
Conference scheduled for September 10, 2019. More details about the conference
will be coming soon. We encourage you to visit our website at cfncf.org/events to

“As a small nonprofit organization based in a rural
Member Spotlight: community, there are limited resources to increase
Unity Family the capacity of the organization. To increase our
capacity to sustain our programs, UFCC became a
member of the Center for Nonprofit Excellence.
Since our membership with the foundation, our
capacity has increased tremendously from the
                          various trainings and one-on-one technical
assistance. UFCC has enhanced its skills and
knowledge in fundraising efforts, board director’s
                          roles and responsibilities, professional development
and social media. The value of learning how to
properly network to strengthened volunteers and
partnerships with other organizations has been
extremely important to the growth of our
                          organization.”
