*This is a tentative schedule and may change to accommodate the number of teams in each
division. The NHSCC rules committee reserves the right to determine if a preliminary or semi-final round of competition will be necessary.
Attention: NO changes can be made after January 10, 2019.

SCHOOL CHAMPIONSHIPS
UCA GAME DAY CHAMPIONSHIP
Take the skills your squad learned at UCA Camp into the spotlight at the UCA National High School
Cheerleading Championship. Game Day is the fastest growing division at our Championship
because it showcases a squad’s long-standing traditions, incredible athleticism and ability to lead
and entertain a crowd!
The competition will kick off the Championship on Friday, February 8, 2019 at the NHSCC at ESPN’s
Wide World of Sports® Complex at the Walt Disney World® Resort.

Teams Eligible to Compete
• Teams must attend a Varsity Spirit Camp that is at least two days long and participate in the
Squad Credentialing Program in order to be eligible to compete and receive a bid at a UCA Fall
Qualifying Tournament for the 2019 NHSCC.
• For those teams qualifying and participating in both the traditional performance divisions and
the UCA Game Day Championship please add an additional $35 per participant.
For teams that are participating in the Game Day Competition AND the preliminary
round of Small Varsity Division I or Small Varsity Division II, every effort will be made to
accommodate conflicts in performance time however, they cannot be guaranteed.

WORLD SCHOOL CHEERLEADING CHAMPIONSHIPS
Competition will take place during the 2019 National High School Cheerleading Championship at
the ESPN Wide World of Sports® Complex – Sunday, February 10, 2019. For easy transition and
participation, NHSCC score sheets, rules and regulations will also be used for the World School
Cheerleading Championships.
Teams Eligible to Compete
• Only teams competing in the 2019 National High School Cheerleading Championship are
eligible to compete in the World School Cheerleading Championships.
• All teams competing in the 2019 Divisions must have placed in the top 10 at the 2018
NHSCC or placed top 3 in the 2018 WSCC to be eligible; adjustments may be made based on
participation level/team division changes from 2018.
• All United States teams must pre-register if interested and are eligible.
• There will be an additional $35 per participant registration fee to compete.

PAYMENTS
• Cheerleaders who will be competing in the School and Game Day Competition or World School Cheerleading Championships will have
a $35 per cheerleader fee.
• Initial registration and non-refundable deposit of $100/person are due by December 5, 2018 for competitions held in October or November
–OR– December 18, 2018 for competitions held in December.
• Balance of payment is due by January 10, 2019.
• Team registrations that are submitted online are not “approved” until the deposit or a school purchase order has been
received. In order for Family and Friends to register, there must be an approved team registration.
• Registrations that are not paid in full 2 weeks prior to the event are subject to cancellation.
• PLEASE MAKE ANY CHECKS PAYABLE TO NHSCC! School checks, money orders, cashier’s checks or credit cards ONLY!!!
HOTEL ACCOM MODATIONS
HOTELS MAY FILL UP PRIOR TO THE PUBLISHED DEADLINES. Hotel reservations are available on a first come first served basis.
Reservations will not be held without a deposit.
CHANGES
All changes must be requested by January 10, 2019. If changes are requested after this date, a $50 per change fee will be charged.
CANCELLATIONS
• For cancellations on or before December 18, 2018, all monies will be refunded with the exception of the one hundred dollars ($100.00)
per person deposit.
• For cancellations between December 19, 2018 and January 10, 2019, an additional $100.00 per person penalty will apply to cover hotel
and entertainment guarantees.
• Cancellations received after January 10, 2019 will result in full forfeiture of all monies paid.
— Deposits from cancellations cannot be applied toward your balance.
— All cancellations must be in writing to the National High School Cheerleading Championship.
— Cancellations by phone will not be accepted.
REFUNDS
Refunds will be issued after the conclusion of the event. Request for refunds must be sent in writing to your registration specialist.
