Expectations:
School will:
-provide parents with copies of login details for key learning platforms (Seesaw, Sumdog and Times Tables Rock Stars**).
-provide pupils with their relevant Maths No Problem text and workbooks (and REACH Geography or History booklets*).
-provide each pupil with an exercise book (for general work, note making etc.) with the login codes attached to the inside cover.
-support families who have limited access IT devices / internet by seeking provision from GCC and, in limited circumstances, loan devices to parents***
-contact the parents of pupils who do not participate in their scheduled learning (via text / email) and offer relevant support / advice.

Teachers will:
-provide daily lesson content and activities for pupils in their class.
-publish a weekly timetable of lessons.
-be available to provide support and feedback during identified times (within the issued class timetable) across the school day.
-will be contactable via Seesaw and the year@ email address
-will monitor participation of pupils and record any non-participants / share with the head teacher (daily).
-will signpost to additional activities that pupils can access / complete on an optional basis by means of practice and reinforcement / extension (this work will be on a non-
submission / none-feedback basis).

Pupils will:
-participate in learning activities every school day.
-be ready to learn and engage with their learning as per the timetable of lessons.
-submit work (via Seesaw) within the required timescales (each day) and complete any self-marking (of MNP work, times tables etc.) as directed.

Parents will:
-arrange for the collection of learning resources from school (if the closure happens on a non-school day).
-help pupils to be ready for their learning each day.
-help pupils to access their work tasks.
-reinforce the expectations for daily completion help with the submission of work tasks.
-advise if their child is unwell and unable to participate in their scheduled learning via the school text system (01452 260762).
-email the class teacher if the pupil is experiencing any barriers to the completion of scheduled tasks.
*Key Stage 2 only   **Y2-Y6 only   ***subject to availability and signing of a loan agreement

Scheduling
-Each week teachers will publish a timetable of activities (via Seesaw) – the timetable will be individual to each class and have identified subjects / timings recorded.
-Each day teachers will post an audio/video message, lesson content and resources (with a reminder of the scheduled timings) on Seesaw. Typically there will also be an
element
-Pupils are required to submit their work on completion (ideally at the end of each session) and / or report to teachers how they have performed in any non-submission tasks.
Feedback takes place within normal school hours (9:00-15:15). Feedback upon work submitted after 15:15 may not be received until the next school day.

Learning content
Reception Class:

Teachers will introduce and explain the daily learning (via Seesaw voiceover or video message) and provide regular input for maths and English lessons via recorded direct
teaching sessions. Recorded teaching sessions may also cover other subject areas, key modelling and follow-up upon misconceptions.

- A Daily Phonics lesson provided via a teaching presentation with related practice activities. This may be enhanced by video links to the sound of the day.

-A Daily Maths lesson which will be delivered via White Rose Maths online lessons and follow up work. Additional practice and reinforcement tasks may be set through
Sumdog

- 3 English lessons per week, linked to the class topic through a story written around the theme, which will include links to videos of the story and a teaching presentation with
related practice activities. 1 of these may be a reading task.

-There will be two weekly activities linked to the class topic.

Years 1 & 2:

teaching sessions. Recorded teaching sessions may also cover other subject areas, key modelling and follow-up upon misconceptions.

-A Daily maths and English lesson plus one additional lesson either linked to the class topic or a discrete subject area.

-Maths lessons will mainly be linked to the Maths No Problem scheme (for which pupils in Y1-Y6 will have text and workbooks) supplemented with White Rose Maths and Oak
National Academy online lessons. Additional practice and reinforcement tasks may be set through Sumdog or Times Tables Rock Stars

-English lessons, where possible, will be linked to the Literacy Tree scheme of work (that is followed in school) and will include access to linked texts.

-Phonics teaching will be provided via a teaching presentation with related practice activities.

-There will be weekly activities linked to the class topic plus additional activities in other subjects that are not taught within the class topic.
Optional practice, consolidation and extension activities will be signposted via links to the relevant units / lessons from the Oak National Academy. Maths competitions and
challenges will be set via Sumdog. Extra reading will be encouraged through recommended online texts from Oxford Owl.

Junior Classes:
Teachers will introduce and explain the daily learning (via Seesaw voiceover or video message) and provide regular input for maths and English lessons via recorded direct
                   teaching sessions. Recorded teaching sessions may also cover other subject areas, key modelling and follow-up upon misconceptions.

-Each day will consist of a separate maths, reading and writing focussed lesson plus one additional, extended lesson in another subject areas (with a balance across Science,
RE, Geography, History and creative subjects).

-Maths lessons will mainly be linked to the Maths No Problem scheme (for which pupils in Y1-Y6 will have text and workbooks) supplemented with White Rose Maths and Oak
National Academy online lessons. Additional practice and reinforcement tasks may be set through Sumdog or Times Tables Rock Stars

-Writing lessons will mainly be linked to the Literacy Tree scheme of work or Oak National Academy.

-Reading lessons will continue through shared texts accessed via provided web links.

-Priority will be given to the setting of Science, RE and History / Geography tasks. Geography / History lessons will be completed via the REACH workbooks and supported by a
teaching presentation.

-Art, Design Technology, Computing, Music and PSHE work tasks and activities will be set within the class timetable.

Optional practice, consolidation and extension activities will be signposted via links to the relevant units / lessons from the Oak National Academy. Maths competitions and
challenges will be set via Sumdog with specific times tables events via Times Tables Rock Stars.

Pupils with SEND:
-Pupils will have access to their class based learning activities but we recognise that pupils may not be able to access the activities independently.
-Pupils with an EHCP will be set daily work tasks and their Key Worker will be available to provide support and feedback.
-The wider SEND group will be prioritised for teacher / Teaching Assistant support through the day to enable access to the class tasks; they may also be set specific group tasks
if the content of the class lesson cannot be accessed (with support).

Vulnerable pupils
-The Designated Safeguarding Lead (or Deputy) will make daily contact with families who have an assigned social worker or who may be considered vulnerable.
-Additional support will be provided to any pupils who have identified social or emotional needs (or are referred for help by parents). This will include the provision of
resources, signposting to specific activities / services and / or the provision of telephone advice for the parent from a member of staff.

Resources to be provided to parents / pupils
-Maths No Problem textbook and workbook (Y1-Y6). -REACH Science and Geography or History booklet (Juniors).
-Exercise book (for completion of work tasks / note taking). -Login details for Seesaw, Sumdog and Times Tables Rock Stars.
