Graubünden is home to over 17 000 kilometres of alpine trails
that challenge riders but reward all with views that will take even
the most globally-experienced rider’s breath away, and memories

The Swiss Epic takes in a new route each year and offers riders
the opportunity to experience true mountain biking in a region
whose trails have been perfected over time.

The race entry package includes hotel accommodation
with breakfast and dinner in the local towns through
which the race passes.
This allows riders to experience Swiss hospitality in its
finest, as well as interaction with the local townsfolk who
all go above and beyond to make every rider’s Swiss Epic
experience a memorable one.

Epic Series
The Epic Series is a global portfolio of best-in-class mtb stage races that
culminates in the pinnacle of mountain biking: the Absa Cape Epic.
The Swiss Epic forms an integral part of the Epic Series and the event has
sold out year on year. With the demand for entries exceeding the supply,
riders who were not fortunate enough to get their hands on an entry
immediately join a long waiting list in the hopes of securing a spot on the
start line high in the Swiss Alps, and with it, the possibility of earning a
guaranteed entry into The Untamed African MTB Race through the Epic
Series' Entry Qualification system.
To those resilient enough to successfully tackle the trails of the Absa
Cape Epic, the Swiss Epic, and The Pioneer, fuelled by Nutri-Grain, an
Epic Legend medal is awarded. This medal recognises this incredible
achievement and to date has been earned by 57 Epic Legends. Entry Qualification
The Epic Series provides riders with another – albeit challenging –
opportunity to gain an entry to the Untamed African MTB Race. Series races
across the globe offer guaranteed slots to age category winners as well as a
lottery for riders who’ve successfully completed each event.
