WELCOME
Greenhills Neighbourhood House is your local non-profit Community Centre
operated by a voluntary Committee of Management. The Centre provides
you with access to advice, information, childcare facilities, a meeting place
or an opportunity to attend a course or workshop in a friendly and relaxed
environment. Wheelchair access available.

CHILDCARE
A GENTLE INTRODUCTION INTO CHILDCARE AND SOCIALISATION
Greenhills Neighbourhood House offers occasional childcare (centre based
care) as part of our program. We offer set days and sessions for your child
to provide them with security and consistency of care. Bookings are made
on a term basis. At Greenhills we offer four hour sessions at our Limited
Hours Type 2 Childcare Centre.
The sessions are Monday to Friday 9am – 1pm.

NEW IN 2019 – we anticipate that by Term 3, 2019 our eligible families will
be able to claim the CCS rebate through Centrelink. Making our childcare
even more affordable! Contact us for more information.

Hearts in Mind is a not for profit community based initiative. They believe
                         that women need to be supported so that they can
                         support others. Hearts in Mind is based at
                         Greenhills Neighbourhood House and provides
                         drop in support, programs and projects to help

IN THE COMMUNITY
Free creative workshops
We often do workshops out in the local community, so keep an eye out for our
upcoming community workshops. Workshops in tile decorating, jewellery
making and terrarium planting will be held at local libraries and at local
Bunnings.

Little Free Libraries
Check out our little free library in the park in Greenhills Road and our new one
near the Greenhills Kindergarten. Come and sit and share a book with a
loved one or take it home to read. Swaps are encouraged but not necessary.

services within our area.

DIAMOND VALLEY COMMUNITY SUPPORT
DVCS is based in Greensborough plaza and offers emergency relief, back to school
assistance, Personal and Financial Counselling, Tax Help, Information and Referral,

SECOND BITE

                            Every Thursday during the term we receive a delivery
                            of food from second bite. Any community member
                            is welcome to come and access this food. We ask
                            that you please bring your own bag.

                  Diamond Valley Lions have been a great supporter of
                  Greenhills in recent years and we thank them greatly! A not
                  for profit organisation that readily accepts volunteers and

PAYMENT OPTIONS
Payment of Course Fees:
   • Bookings for all courses are to be confirmed with a $20 non-
      refundable deposit
   • Full balance to be paid within the first 3 weeks of term
   • Discounted fees will not be offered except for valid long term medical
      reasons or extended holidays (min 4 weeks with notice given at start
      of term)
   • Eftpos facilities & phone payments available (phone 9435 9287)
   • Invoices for classes will be sent to your email address
   • If you would like to become a member of Greenhills Neighbourhood
      House, a yearly fee of $1 is changed. This entitles you to a voting
      voice with regards to the governance of the GNH activities and
