MEMBERSHIP RENEWAL

•   Membership expires on July 1 each year

•   Just a reminder that you must have a current club and USFS
    membership in order to compete or test

•   Renew memberships through Entryeeze.com
NATIONAL QUALIFYING SERIES (NQS)

•   There will no longer be Regional or Championship Series competitions in
    the fall

•   There are 23 nationwide competitions between July 15-September 30 that are
    designated as NQS.

•   Leaderboard will determine advancement to Sectionals

     July 14-17, 2022
2022-2023 CSCA COMPETITIVE
               TEAM REQUIREMENTS
•   Minimum 4 competitions (*2 must be NQS events) per season

•   Juvenile, Intermediate, Novice, Junior or Senior Well Balanced (ASCEND) combined events
    only

•   Must register for NQS Series through USFS

•   Must complete a minimum number of volunteer hours

•   2021-2022 Open Juvenile team members will remain on the team as long as the meet the
    requirements above. There will be no new Open Juvenile competitors recognized as part of the
    team.

•   Congratulations to the 2021-2022 Theater on Ice teams for their
    achievement at the National Theater on Ice 2021 Summer Series in
    Pelham, Alabama

    •   Team 1- 3rd place

    •   Team 2- 2nd place

    •   Team 2 also received 3rd place for their Free skate overall

   •   Ashley Y.- Intermediate Ladies bronze medalist (Henderson, NV) and pewter medalist (Spokane, WA)

   •   Nicholas B. (Associate)- Intermediate Men gold medalist (Allen, TX and Alpharetta, GA) Pacific Coast Section
       Champion, and 3rd place overall in Intermediate Men.

Jennifer H.- Silver medalist at 2022 Adult Pacific Coast Sectionals for Bronze ladies. She is also the US Figure Skating 2022 Ad

•   Sasha R. won the most artistic performance by a pre-preliminary skater at Cactus
    Classic

•   Grace F. won the Michael Pavich Memorial Trophy for the most artistic free skate
    performance for the preliminary through Juvenile level at Cactus Classic

ELECTION RESULTS

Out of 324 electors, we had 139 club members vote in the 2022 election

Congratulations to Maureen Aaby (3 years), Marisa Friedman (3 years),
Karen Gesell, (3 years) and Allison Barrier (2 years).

Congratulations to our new board members. We are going to have a great
year!
