Invitational
May 28 – 31, 2020
The Canmore Illusions Gymnastics Club invites your
club to participate in:
Come dressed in a costume that represents the
ROCKIES to you – maybe your favourite outdoor
activity, mountain wildlife, or famous discovery
person – and have a chance to win a prize!
COMPETITION INFORMATION:
Location:
Canmore Recreation Centre 1900 8th Avenue, Canmore AB T1W 2Y1
Levels:
WAG: JO levels 1 to 10, Aspire 1 & 2
MAG: Provincial levels 1-4 and Elite 1 and 2
Rules:
WAG:
• Women’s Canadian Junior Olympic Program (CJO) for JO 1-10 level
• Canadian Aspire Program will follow the latest GCG Aspire Manual
MAG:
• 2016-2020 Canadian Provincial Pathway Rules Provincial 1 -4
• 2016-2020 Canadian Elite Pathway Rules Provincial 1-2
Equipment:
• Spieth Anderson and AAI. Specification will follow AGF guidelines.
• Competition will run on a single set of equipment
Awards:
WAG:
• JO 3-10 and Aspire: Medals for 1-3rd, ribbons for 4th-8th on each event and AA
• JO 1-2: Each participant will receive a score range ribbon on all 4 events (Gold,
Silver, Bronze) plus a score-range AA medal
• Team Award for JO 1-2
• Special awards determined by Judges
MAG:
• Provincial & Elite 1: Bronze, Silver and Gold ribbon on each event, Podium
awards 1-8th for AA
• Provincial 2, 3 and 4 & Elite 2: Medals for 1 -3rd, ribbons for 4th-8th on each event
and AA
• Teams awards for P2, 3 and 4

A draft schedule will be provided following the registration deadline.

Notes:
• Registration will be accepted first-come first-serve
• Late registration following April 10th will be accepted subject to space
• Registration fees and signed waivers MUST accompany registration package.

Refund Policy:
• Medical withdrawals will receive a refund of the entry fees less $25, only with a
note SIGNED by a physician prior to the session.
• Non-Medical withdrawals will not be refunded after the April 10th deadline

Please read carefully before signing:
In consideration of the Canmore Illusions Gymnastics Club accepting the entry of
(insert name of gymnast) (“the Gymnast”) into the
Twentieth Annual Summit Invitational Gymnastics Meet to be held May 28 th to 31st, 2020 in
Canmore, Alberta, the Gymnast, both for herself and her heirs, executors, administrators and
assigns, waives, releases and discharges any and all rights, demands and claims for damages
(whether for personal injury, death, illness, property damage and/or property loss), including
claims for negligence, that she may have against the Canmore Illusions Gymnastics Club, the
executive, employees and agents of the Canmore Illusions Gymnastics Club, the Town of
Canmore, participating Meet sponsors, supporters, volunteers and Meet organizers, arising from
the Gymnast’s participation in the Meet. The Gymnast acknowledges that gymnastics is a sport
with risks inherent in it, and in signing this form it is the Gymnast’s intention to accept those
risks, and all consequences thereof. The Gymnast acknowledges that she or he has read this
release in its entirety, that she or he understands and agrees to be bound by its terms, and that
she or he is signing voluntarily and without duress or undue influence from anyone.
