view optimal sanding not only provides a result - it also completes the

CLEANING DISCS
REX FLEX cleaning discs
These discs are suitable for aggressive cleaning and surface preparation. Suitable for removing rust, paint, epoxy
coatings, weld spatter and mill scale.
Advantages:
⊲ The open structure of the material prevents ⊲ Free of metals, therefore leaves no corrosive
clogging, even with heavy coatings residues on the work surface
⊲ Low heat development / cooler sanding ⊲ Especially user-friendly - no work piece removal

Recommended Use:
⊲ Preferably on slow-running angle grinders

New names and designs
for our Quality Lines
The right product at any time - individual and suited to your application.
Based on the pioneering spirit of our founder Günter Wendt, some
of our products are now divided into three new quality lines.
Back in 1971, everything started in Windeck, about 50 kilometres
from Cologne. In the course of globalization, locations in Brazil
and the United States were added. The resulting partnerships and
friendships make us as proud as the quality of our tools.
The new quality lines are intended continue this idea
and to transport it to you, our customer.
Our cutting, grinding and flap discs
are named after major cities:
KÖLN (Cologne), NEW YORK and RIO
The well-known quality lines Premium, Power and Basic will be added to KÖLN,
NEW YORK and RIO. Each of them have an independent price-performance
ratio and a well-balanced combination of aggressiveness and durability.
The KÖLN line is the first choice for the highest standards of quality and

alternative for working with low power angle grinders.

19FELT FLAP DISCS
Felt flap discs
Our felt flap discs are made of natural felt and are affixed
to a fibreglass backing. The flexibility of the individual flaps
allows for a cool air flow at all times and also allows perfect
adaptation to the work piece contour. This tool is used with
polishing pastes for pre-polishing and high-gloss polishing on
medium to large components. Thus, these pastes are selected
to determine the desired degree of polishing.
Product features:
⊲ The medium version is suitable for pre-polishing flat surfaces
⊲ The soft version is ideal for polishing and
smoothing contoured work pieces
⊲ When producing very fine surfaces, both
versions can be used consecutively
Recommended Use:
For an optimal result, felt products should always be used at
speeds of approx. 10 m / s.
Additional note:
Always use the same polishing paste with a polishing pad on
the same material. For example, never use polishing discs that
have already been used on aluminium on stainless steel or steel.
Conversely, the same applies.

Zirconia abrasive flaps on a small diameter plastic plate. This product provides aggressive material removal and longer
life than conventional abrasive discs. Ideal for working in hard-to-reach places where larger flap discs can not be used.

Quick-change discs, zirconia+ - with abrasive additives
The abrasive additives dissipate the heat generated during sanding from the work piece and thus permit cool working
on stainless steel and hard alloys. Also reduces the clogging of the disc when working on softer materials, such as
aluminium or brass.
Tip:
For best results - apply moderate pressure to activate the grinding additives.

Ceramic grain with abrasive additives for aggressive wear on alloyed steels,

FLAP WHEELS
G-WENDT offers flap wheels in a variety of dimensions,
abrasives and grits. These are made only from high quality
abrasive on a base of heavy cotton fabric. This provides
superior durability and increased flexibility. The latter
ensures that the flap wheel adapts ideally to the contours
of the work piece.

Our flap wheels are produced with premium aluminium oxide
abrasive, and are suitable for nearly all applications.
The X-weight cotton backing provides strength, dissipates
heat, and wears evenly to produce a consistent finish.

Cartridge rolls, mandrels
Easy product change without loosening the holder from the collet of the tool drive. Our threaded mandrels can be used
with straight, conical and semi-conical sanding rolls.
Recommended mandrel length:
The mandrel should be about 6-12 mm shorter than the cartridge roll and have a mandrel diameter of the bore size of
the roll. Make sure that the glued end of the cartridge rolls is always placed on the spindle first.
