The Denison Pequotsepos Nature Center (DPNC) is one of the oldest
environmental organizations in Connecticut. With origins dating back to 1946,
the Nature Center has provided the community and visitors with opportunities to
better understand and appreciate the natural world, our impact upon it, and our
place within it. Businesses large and small have long supported educational programs and
events for all ages, whether through Green-tie Celebration donations, contributions of
services, or outrights gifts.
DPNC can now recognize those organizations, and the value of their support, more
broadly. Through our Community Partners Directory we hope to build community
appreciation and support for these businesses– our partners in helping the Nature
Center fulfill its mission: to inspire an understanding of the natural world and ourselves
as part of it – past, present, and future.
