the greater will be the yearning for

2DIE DAME
Est. 1912
The magazine DIE DAME was founded in 1912 and shaped the intellectual and
cultural discourse of the Weimar Republic in the 1920s.
DIE DAME worked with intellectuals such as Bertolt Brecht, Tamara de Lempicka,
George Grosz, Hannah Höch, Colette, Arthur Schnitzler, Carl Zuckmayer, Joachim
Ringelnatz and Kurt Tucholsky.
The idea was to take a stand against cultural flattening, fashionable imitation
and stuffy backwardness.
The women in DIE DAME were smart, short-haired, drove cars and smoked
cigarettes.
They were candid, capricious and never categorical.
3CONCEPT
Different, innovative, inspiring.
The magazine for cultural change.
DIE DAME is pointed, assured and uninhibited.
It stages debates, it inspires.
And it has great faith in its readers.
It offers straightforward reportages and reports that embody
the essence of our zeitgeist.
