The 1st Annual Eagles on the Green Outing would not have happened

The 1st Annual Eagles on the Green Golf Outing
Welcome to the 1st Annual ICS eagles on the Green Golf Outing and Auction! We want to extend a huge
thank you to our fabulous ICS teachers and staff for turning this tough year into a nurturing one filled with learning,
faith, enrichment, and successes. This year brought challenges that were overcome safely and kindly through your
spirit of collaboration and grace. Our student body showed resilience as they were forced to adapt, and did so with
patience and joy. Our families are extremely grateful as everyone navigated how to handle this ever-changing
landscape together.
Despite the year we were in, we made it happen. The support and generosity shown across all parties in-
volved in the planning, sponsoring, donating, and executing of this event has been remarkable. The ICS name, as
well as the internal and external community surrounding it, remains powerful and influential no matter what the
world decides to throw our way.
The Eagles on the Green Golf Outing is our biggest fundraising event of the year and we hope everyone
within our school community will embrace the opportunity to participate in its success, which ultimately benefits
our children’s educational experience at Immaculate Conception School.

Immaculate Conception School Families and Friends,
Beloved educator and child advocate Mr. Fred Rogers famously shared a conversation with his mother from
when he was young where she advised him in challenging times to "Look for the helpers. You will always find
people who are helping.” Of our many blessings here at ICS, one I am most grateful for is our many helpers
working during challenging and uncertain times to create a sense of community and to support our school.
On behalf of the entire faculty and staff, I want to thank this year’s Home School Association who bravely
put aside the playbook of events and reimagined new and exciting ways to get people involved, recognize the
teachers, and raise funds in support of our school’s mission.
We are excited for our 1st annual golf event taking place on Friday, April 23rd at the Eagles Nest Golf
Course as well as participation in the online auction. Thank you in particular to the chairs of this inaugural event
for their fierce determination and unwavering enthusiasm. Ms. Darcey Peck and Ms. Amy Looze – thank you for
your willingness to try something new and for the countless hours that went into planning what I hope to be a new
ICS tradition.
So, whether you are bidding on some fun items through the online auction or dusting off your clubs to play
in the event, thank you for your participation in this fun event and for your unwavering support of Immaculate

Let’s be honest. We learned a few things in the year of the quarantine. We learned about the things

The Immaculate Conception HSA board and staff thank you from the bottom of our hearts
