Commitment
Commitment – It is expected that players will attend most or all practices, games and
team events, however, of course we recognize that there will be absences due to illness,
special events, and schoolwork.

Generally the expectation for U14AA commitment is that Ringette will be the 3rd priority
for members, behind school and family.

All players are encouraged to participate in other sports or extra-curricular activities,
particularly at U14AA. However, we ask that scheduled Ringette times (practices,
games, dry-land & events) take priority unless there are important tournaments, school
events, or championships relating to the other sports/activities. Where those arise, the
coaching staff will be fully supportive of the athletes attending, so long as appropriate
notice is provided.
Schedules
• 1 weekday ice time for practice.
• 2 weekend ice times for practices and/or games. (Note – this is dependent on ability to
schedule ice with the City of Edmonton, and subject to change)
• 1 ice time for Black Gold League games (approx. 1 game/week starting mid-October).
• 1 weekday powerskating or dryland training session weekly (starting mid-October).
• Tournament Options – Dates to be Confirmed
(U14 teams typically attend 4 or 5, not incl. Provincials, or Western Canadian Ringette
   Championships, if qualified.)
