St Patrick’s Day is the one national holiday that is celebrated in more countries around the world than any other. It’s the day
when everyone wants to be Irish so what better way to celebrate than to be in Ireland for it! Everything you hear about this
island is true: Ireland is absolutely stunning with breath-taking landscapes, friendly fascinating people and a lot of things to
see & do.
Itinerary
MONDAY – We make our way to Holyhead for our Stena Line ferry to
Dublin, before continuing a short journey to our hotel, where we can
settle in before our 3 course Irish-themed dinner.
TUESDAY – ‘Happy St Patrick’s Day’ - After a hearty breakfast we head
to the town centre of Newtown Mount Kennedy where we can join the
locals and celebrate all things Irish. The town has a St Patrick’s parade
starting approx. 11:30am and there will be live music throughout the
town all day. Once back at hotel we can enjoy our dinner and an evening
of music.
WEDNESDAY – Today we head to Ireland’s capital of Dublin visiting the
Liberties Distillery. This Irish Whiskey Distillery opened in 2018, and we
have the chance to be guided through the full production process and
on to the tasting bar. The tour will entertain you with some wonderful
stories of past local characters. We also have some free time in Dublin
where you can explore this beautiful city.
THURSDAY – We visit Powerscourt House & Gardens today which was
