before launching his own production company. A storytelling, content, and branding expert, Tom's the
Director of FIDM's Digital Marketing program. I'm excited to share with you that Tom will join me on Monday,
May 17th, to talk about FIDM's Digital Marketing program! This will be an informative and exciting
presentation for students interested in Social Media, Brand Management, creating a company's brand,
creative business, and entrepreneur students. As an industry expert, Tom will talk about the new business
models and career opportunities within the Digital Marketing industries, the major + degrees, careers, and
industry partner internships. Tom has a wealth of knowledge and expertise, and his deep connections with
industry will be a benefit to SMC students interested in this field. I'm so thrilled he has accepted my
invitation! Tom will present for 45 minutes. I will cover scholarship opportunities, BA + CIS, application
process, travel abroad, housing, and upcoming events for the remainder of our visit.

One positive change that has come from COVID, is that Smith is more flexible with awarding credit for classes
completed online. Smith’s Committee on Academic Policy issued revised transfer credit guidelines earlier and
we predict that due to the current circumstances, there may be another revision later.
