WETA WORKSHOP EXPERIENCE
Experience the artistry of Weta Workshop in our dedicated off-premises space for large groups, in the heart of
Miramar’s filmmaking precinct.
With a Weta Workshop crew member guiding the way, guests will get right up close to the props, costumes,
models and weapons crafted for The Lord of the Rings, District 9, Avatar, The Chronicles of Narnia, and more.
Witness the evolution of Weta’s creativity and get a fascinating glimpse into the earliest days of the company
in our exclusive short documentary. Hear stories from the Weta Workshop crew, many of whom have worked
on the films themselves. They may even reveal a few secrets behind the movie magic!
The Weta Workshop Experience takes place in a cavern of creativity that can comfortably host up to 100
people. It’s the perfect precursor to a day of filmmaking fun on the Miramar Peninsula.
