Thursday 4/18 Paints & Pinot: "Tree Ring" Acrylic Pour 6pm-8pm $45 Create a beautifully unique acrylic
at this Paints & Pinot Session at the B2 Cafe where we will show you a step-by-step process on how to
paint using the Acrylic Pour “Tree Ring“ method on a 12 x 12 canvas. These are super fun and will make
a great addition to your home décor or a great handmade gift from the heart! 

 One glass of wine is included in the ticket price! Customers can order drinks and food from the

support your child’s future employment goals, but don’t know where to start? Do you need more specific

**Welcome to Alamo for All - a movie program for young families and guests with special needs. All shows
starting before 2 pm on Tuesday and Wednesday follow Alamo for All rules, with more shows on the
weekends. Schedule may vary during holidays. At sensory-friendly Alamo for All shows,

• Lights are turned up and sound is turned down
• All ages are welcome (including infants)
• Talking and noise is allowed, and guests can move around
• Latecomers are admitted
• Adaptive technology is welcome (but no other electronics, please)

by getting out with your friends, family and coworkers for a walk around beautiful downtown Springfield in search
of brightly colored hearts. Every heart you find is a chance to win a $100 gift card and prizes! How does it work?

April 1st – GYNCA’s 18th Annual Spring Luncheon & Survivor Fashion Show. 11 am-1pm @ Oasis Hotel & Convention
Center. The 18th Annual Spring Luncheon & Survivor Fashion Show presented by Janice & Ron Penney will be the
biggest in GYNCA history! We want to thank the community for your support over the last 18 years to women in
SWMO with gynecologic cancers. Dr. Bonebrake & Dr. Hernandez will be leading our brave group of 24 survivors
as they storm the stage with an amazing fashion show! ALL of the models are gynecologic cancer survivors! There
will be the infamous tote bag raffle and other great activities leading up to the hottest group of cancer survivors
rocking the stage in fashions by Town & County, Harem & Company, Krickets Fine Fashions, & Talbots. Tickets are
just $40 or $400 for a table of 10 and can be purchased by clicking the button below. Sponsorships are still

April 1st – Emulation Winter Guard Send-off and Senior Night. 8 pm @ Kickapoo High School, Spfd. Come out and
support the KPOOEM team as they prepare for WGI World Championships. Monday night-(April 1) we will begin
by recognizing our KPOOWG Seniors at 8:00 pm followed by a send-off performance. Doors open at 7:45pm -

April 1st – Contemplative Movement. Monday @ 10 am at Circle on the Square: Holistic Life Center, Spfd. Open
to all, Contemplative Dance Practice is a simple three part form developed by Barbara Dilley at Naropa
University. It is a timed structured practice that comprises of a sitting meditation/silence, a personal awareness
movement practice and lastly, open space with community. No experience necessary. You have freedom to
move and/or witness anytime. In this form you are able to explore self(s) and self in relation to others within
improvisation, experience creativity emerging from silence and movement from stillness. We will end with a cup of
warm tea and reflect. (ahh, the tea is now a maybe). Everyone welcomed. Basically, it is just ridiculously fun.
Come. Only $10 per session.

our monthly meeting on April 1st, from 12-1pm at Community Partnership of the Ozarks. Learn about Human
Trafficking, and discover how you can get involved!

April 1st – Monday Nights of SIN. Monday @ 7 pm at Bugsy Malone’s, Spfd.
SIN = Service Industry Night. Every Bartender... server....cook.... you get it. We will be giving huge discounts on
drinks, have someone to be at your beckon call, clean up after your nasty a$$ and just show you a great night

April 1st – April League – Outdoor 450. Monday @ 4 pm at Archery: Springfield-Greene County Park Board, Spfd.
April League will be a modified Outdoor 600 Round League is open to anyone. No membership required. $7 per
round 45 arrows (15 arrows at 3 distances) Weather permitting This will be similar to the Missouri Bowhunter 600
State Championship that will be held at the Springfield Archery Complex on May 4th. The difference will be
archers will shoot 45 arrows instead of 60. Archers will shoot 15 arrows from 3 distances for league. The target size is
92cm. Adults & Young Adults - 40, 50 & 60 yards Youth - 30, 40 & 50 yards Cub - 10, 20 & 30 yards Adult 18+ Young
Adult 15-17 Youth 12-14 Cub 11 & under Arrive by 6pm to complete the round before dark. To register for the MBH
600 on May 4th go to http://www.mobowhunters.org/ Register for the MBH 600 by April 28th to avoid the late fee.
Must be a member of MBH to compete in the MBH 600.

University uses the Strengths Finder Assessment as a way to determine what charactsticis describe who YOU, as
students, are. As Christians, we believe that God created us with specific gifts and talents unique to our calling!
Join us for a spiritual discussion featuring Dr. Jon Spence and Dr. Grant Jones as we join together in worship,
scripture reading, and spiritual teachings.

April 1st – Ready to Run Club begins at Dan Kinney Family Center. If you don’t yet love running, you will this spring.

the election goes, I'm going to want to watch the results come in with my friends and campaign supporters! I'm

any others I might consolidate plans.

April 2nd – BIKE NIGHT-Tuesdays. Tuesday @ 6 pm at T-Bairz Sports Bar & Grill, Spfd. Bike Nights at T-Bairz!!! Tuesday
Bike Night. Good times, great friends, great food, and beer! $1 TACO BAR 6-8pm! Dollar Tacos for our participating
bike enthusiasts. If you’re on your bike, or drinking with us, then the Taco Bar is for you.

April 2nd – DHE Skate Night. Tuesday @ 6 pm at Springfield Skateland, Spfd. Brings your friends and family out for
the last Skate Night of this school year. Skate and dance from 6-8 pm. $5.00 gets you in and includes skate rental.
Don't want to make dinner? $3.00 hot dog, chips and soda special will be available. Lots of great concessions

and visit our sweet baby chicks while we read a story and paint Easter eggs. We have families who have have
painted eggs every year for the last 22 years. They now have a basket full of memories. We love this tradition! It's

April 2nd – New Menu Launch! Tuesday @ 4 pm at Cellar + Plate LLC, Spfd. Come try our brand new dishes The
Beauty and The Beast! This new one, two duo and their wine pairings will bring a new step to the dance floor. In
addition, our new menu will be bringing new and exciting wines from the cellar to your glass and we can't wait to
share them with you!

April 2nd – MOJO at KRAVE. Tuesday @ 7 pm at KRAVE Seafood & Oyster Bar, Spfd. It's the Missouri Jazz Orchestra
at Krave! Come experience the finest big band jazz in the area, with charts from the great American songbook,
plus classic and modern big band hits and original works by our members and friends. No cover, full dinner and
drink menu, open to all ages. We'll see you there!

April 2nd – CASA Info Meting. Tuesday @ noon and 5:30 pm at CASA of Southwest Missouri, Spfd. CASA offers at
least two sessions every month for community members to join us and learn more about becoming a special
advocate for children in foster care in Greene and Christian counties. Give us one hour of your day and we can
show you how you can change lives.

April 2nd – Sculpture X-Games Planning & Potluck. Tuesday @ 5:30 pm at ArtXelectric & ArtBarn, Spfd. This is the
preliminary planning meeting and potluck for Sculpture X-Games 2019! Information about the rules and guidelines
of the Games will be presented. Bring your ideas, potential teammates, and something to share. By April 16, the

artist teams will be finalized and those who have been commissioned will create outdoor sculptures in only a
week! Teams have a month to prepare, then one week to build on the grounds of the ideaXfactory and MSU’s
Brick City green space. The final sculptures will be judged on Friday, May 3 by Nick Nelson, Director of the
Springfield Art Museum and Rodo Padilla, internationally-renounded sculptor who will be visiting from Mexico.

April 2nd – April Breastfeeding Café. Tuesday @ 10 am at The Library Center, Spfd. This informal come & go
meeting will take place at the *Library Center in meeting room B* Come talk breastfeeding and parenting with
leaders and other moms! All breastfeeding and pregnant moms welcome, feel free to bring your support
person/people - babies and children are also always welcome to attend, we do ask that you bring quiet activities
for children (and we understand that doesn’t always work out!) at LLL meetings you can always come and go
and take care of your children’s needs. Hope to see you there!

April 2nd – Star Wars Film Trivia. Tuesday @ 6 pm at 417 Taphouse, Spfd. Join Visioncon the First Tuesday of every
month from 6:30 – 9:00pm for Nerd-Fest Trivia night at 417 Taphouse! Each month will have a different theme and
new prizes! Food specials, costume contests, games and a great night of trivia and fun await you, and
participation is always free. Join us Tuesday April 2nd for Star Wars Flim Trivia! All ages are welcome to attend.

makes Node_RED an ideal tool to easily create home automation applications.

Each month we will gather in front of an art piece for an hour and build a collective understanding of the work
through sharing our observations, questions, and suggestions. This activity is designed for anyone who wishes to
spend more time with art, desires to participate in a curious learning environment, wants to move deeper into
