Behavioral Supports and Interventions for the Home
      Learn new and simple effective techniques to support positive behaviors at home.
      Bring awareness to parents on how they impact their children’s behaviors.
Executive Functioning Skills
      Learn the importance of Executive Functioning (EF) skills and how they affect learning.
      Acquire knowledge of the supports provided through an Individual Education Plan (IEP) to assist
       students with the development of Executive Functioning skills.
How to Encourage Home Learning
      Provide parents with strategies that will guide them to develop foundational literacy and study skills.
      Provide different ways to use basic learning tools and approaches at home.
Inclusion in Education
      Understand the definition of inclusion.
      Identify the benefits of students with disabilities being in an inclusive setting.
      Acquire knowledge of the supports and services provided through an Individual Education Plan (IEP) for
       students with disabilities to be included.
School-Home Communication Strategies
      Learn the importance of communication between the school and home.
      Acquire organization and preparation strategies to successfully participate in a school meeting
       including steps that need to take place before, during, and after the meeting.
The Individual Education Plan (IEP)
      Learn the importance of the Individual Educational Plan (IEP) in your child’s education.
      Acquire knowledge of the IEP to be an effective participant in the plan’s development.
Coffee and Connect
      This presentation averages 30 minutes in length with a short video typically relating to Conscious
       Discipline.
      Time will also be allotted to allow participants to connect with the group.
Learning Styles
      Acquire knowledge about the three basic learning styles and gain an understanding of how your child
       learns.
      Learn strategies to support your child’s strongest learning style.
Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)
      Provide parents with a better understanding of ADHD and how it may affect learning.
      Learn practical and valuable information that will help your family and your child.
