To me, being an Honor Guard member means just what the
charge says; standing “sharp, crisp and motionless”
as I honor those who served before me.
How has the Honor Guard affected you?
I would have to say that the Honor Guard has affected me in a positive way.
The Honor Guard makes me look at life in a different light and to be
appreciative of those you love because you never know what tomorrow holds.
The Honor Guard has also put the fire back in me to re-instill those core
values in me.
What do you feel you have to offer the Honor Guard?
I feel that I have to offer the Honor Guard my discipline as well as my core
values which I feel I embody well. I can pass those on to the Airmen after me.
What are your goals in the Air Force?
My current goals in the Air Force is to accomplish a Bachelor's degree while
still accomplishing the mission and giving all that I can to my everyday job.
What is your favorite saying/motto?
My favorite saying would have to be, “To try is to fail.” which my coach would
always say to us. You don't try, you get it done.

I most respect my mother because ever since I can remember she has been a
go-getter. She wants what is best for my siblings and me, so I try to have the
