Merry Christmas from the team at FiveMile! T he decorations are up and we’ve
got our ‘festive feels’ on – many of our retailers are busy and bustling in the last
couple of weeks before Christmas, with some late night shopping to cater for
the rush. Check out individual stores for opening hours and special deals. We’ve
got plenty of car parks but time can get away on you when you’re having fun
so remember to check parking time limits and make the most of our free
covered park under Countdown - with conveyor belt and lift access to stores.

meet myles - our elf off the shelf

T he Great Elf Hunt is underway. In the spirit of Christmas cheer, we have an elf.
His name is Myles. And in conjunction with our friends at MOREFM, Myles is hiding
in plain sight somewhere around the centre (spoiler alert - he may move) If
you spot him and scan his QR code you’re in the daily draw to win one of
thousands of dollars’ worth of prizes or the main prize pack worth $5000!

'the insiders' at broker gallery

Check out our very own BROKER Galleries’ latest exhibition ‘T he Insiders’ showing
from December 8. T he group exhibition features a variety of mediums with
works from Jane Reynolds, Caryline Boreham, Sarah Bultitude, T ori Beeche,
Ekaterina Dimieva and Blair McLeod.

BROKER Galleries has been selected to show at the 2023 Aotearoa Art Fair in
Auckland featuring over 40 galleries from New Zealand, Australia and the
Pacific Rim. BROKER is the first ever Queenstown-born gallery to be selected to
exhibit at T he Cloud. Broker will feature three solo presentations of new work by
artists Hana Pera Aoake, Marc Blake and Wesley John Fourie.

Meet Ken the owner of Five Mile Pharmacy – one of our original businesses!
Having worked at Five Mile since 2015, Ken says he loves the area because of
how central it is to other amenities and being close to home. He says the best
bit about his job is “being able to help others and working with such a great
team.” At age five Ken wanted to be a fighter pilot but now if he wasn’t a
pharmacist, he’d be an architect. Fun Fact Of T he Day - Ken thinks most
people wouldn’t know just how much he loves shoes.

Ken is an integral part of the FiveMile ‘family’ and when we posted on our social
media about him we received the loveliest comments so we thought we’d
share!
