As an addendum, I would like to say that NOVA stockings are also the best in terms of fashion. I‘m 39
and I certainly don‘t feel like walking around in shiny or totally opaque granny stockings. I wear NOVA
normally with skirts and it is not at all noticeable that they are compression stockings.

20In the case of „open leg“, after the decongestion phase of the oedema, the treatment should be swit-
ched to two-layer ulcer compression systems for long-term therapy, if possible. The COMPRESSANA
ULCER SYSTEM consists of an overstocking and two understockings that can be changed. When
worn in combination, the compression pressure of ULCER FORTE and ULCER INTRA add up to a
resting pressure of compression class 3. The stocking components are optimally matched to each
other and easy to use: The understocking with light compression is used to fix wound dressings and
pads. It can be worn on the affected leg day and night for permanent compression. The medium
compression overstocking is applied over the understocking during the day to increase compression.
Compression in combination with movement ensures treatment success: COMPRESSANA ULCER
SYSTEM offers non-slip wearing comfort, full freedom of movement and mobility. Normal sports
clothing and shoes can be worn. Even after the venous leg ulcer has healed, medical compression

porous, three-dimensional knitted surface develops a strong massage effect under movement.
The material thickness and stiffness of the knitted fabric ensures an even distribution of the support
