www.futurebylund.seDrivers: Pain points, visions, people…?
Technology driven: Smart sustainable (auto)mobility experiments
focuses on immediate problems (emissions, traffic jams, security). A
technological orientaAon that reinforces the dominant role of
vehicles.
People driven : Micromobility, walking
and biking as a part of a healthy and
meaningful lifestyle. Creates
engagement – but connecAon to
transit, regional commuAng and
logisAcal systems not matured yet.
Service driven: Mobility services (MaaS) focuses on organizaAonal
changes and alternaAve roles of vehicles. A business model /
organizaAonal oriented approach which requires “Air BnB” set-up”.
www.futurebylund.seTechnology driven . Full electrifica7on of all transports
People driven: Improving biking quality
www.futurebylund.seSERVICE DRIVEN: CAR FREE LIVING
www.futurebylund.seFrom organisaQons to organising (not the same as tripple helix)
CollaboraQon is a good start , but co-creaQon a must
CiQzens engagement is great, but ciQzens acceptance even be_er
Less focus on strategies – focus more on effects and real change (we need roadmaps,
deadlines & investment impacts)
Increase cross-sectoral learning – the soluQons are out there already (e.g. ESA/ Space
industry)
CompeQQon on ideas – but not with other ciQes
Transferability / scale-up of ideas – mulQcity acQons
