Popular programs fill up quickly, so make sure you "beat the line" and be the first to register online. November 11 | Programs and Events viewable online November 22 at 8:00pm | Online registration opens for Aquatics only November 22 at 9:00pm | Online registration opens for All Programs November 23 | In-person and Call Centre registration begins Richmond Remembrance Day Ceremony returns in-person at City Hall Friday, November 11 Honour and remember Canadian service personnel who gave their lives in the service of our country on Friday, November 11 at the cenotaph located on the east side of Richmond City Hall. Official ceremonies will begin at 10:40am. There will be two minutes of silence at 11:00am, followed by wreath laying. City Hall will be closed to the public. Portable washrooms will be installed at various locations surrounding the parade route.
For those unable to attend in person, Richmond’s Remembrance Day service will be recorded and streamed live. Watch the event live starting at 10:20am on Friday, November 11. The recording will also be available to view in its entirety following the ceremony. Swim Lessons Changes to Winter 2023 Lessons Starting January 1, 2023, the City of Richmond is transitioning from the Canadian Red Cross Swim Kids program to the Lifesaving Society’s Swim for Life program for all swimming lessons. This transition only affects lessons that start after December 31, 2022. What does this mean for you? View the swim lesson transition chart which shows which Lifesaving Society Swim for Life program swimmers will move into based on their current or previous Red Cross Swim Kids program. You can view what swimming lessons your child has completed as well as what lesson they are currently registered in by logging onto your registration account: Go to www.richmond.ca, click on the blue MYRICHMOND button in the top right and login To view activities: Click on My Activities Click on My Info Double click on the name of the participant Scroll down to Activity Outcomes and expand section to see results of previous swimming levels To view lessons your child is currently registered in: Scroll down to Attendance and expand section to view registration history or scroll down to Activity If you are unsure as to what level your swimmer should register in, please call: Minoru Centre for Active Living – 604-233-6225 Watermania – 604-448-5353 Registration Call Centre – 604-276-4300 Richmond Tree Sale on Now!
