BEING A PARENT IN 2020 TOOK
on an entirely new role. We became our
child’s teacher, best friend, playground,
swim coach, music instructor, and
entertainer. This is not to mention all the
other everyday chores that had to happen
to make life go-round on a daily basis. This
year we celebrate all the parents that have
worked so hard to keep their jobs and their
kids entertained while not going a little
insane themselves.
Here are a few pictures for you to enjoy
the joys of raising children and some of the
struggles we had during a global pandemic.
We salute you, Moms and Dads, for all of your
hard work and dedication during this time.

in September once everyone gets back to

The house that was the previous home of
Chris Bianco of Pizza Bianco fame came with
some authentic Italian cookery tools and a
massive, beautifully weathered table. Ace has
placed that table in the living room, which
now has become a perfect dining space. Mr.
Bianco’s ex-wife had lived in the house for
25 years and collected lots of eclectic pieces,
many of which stayed with the house.
The home is a Craftsman Bungalow with
the distinctive massive river rock pillars
supporting the spacious front porch. A lone
artist’s sculpture of the bust of a woman
rests next to the front door, an homage to
the longest inhabitant of the house, Else
Schauman, who lived there from 1940-1992.
There is a peculiar historical snippet inside
the built-in hallway storage area, which
describes Else as “German artist, traveler,
