past 20 years, Healthlink has expanded from a single hospital

Common Healthlink Issues & Solutions
1. Why is our new GP/locum getting an error when trying to do a referral?
New GPs or locums at your clinic will need a Healthlink account set up in order to do a referral in their own
name. Please email support.healthlink@hse.ie with your clinic details, the new GP/Locum’s name and MCN.
2. How does the Healthlink certificate work?
If you do not have a Healthlink certificate installed on your machine under your own PC login then you will
not be able to access Healthlink. The certificate is installed under the user account, and not per machine. So if
you move to a new machine in a different room, you will need to get the certificate installed on that machine
also.
3. What is the 403 error mean when logging onto Healthlink?
You need to install a Healthlink Certificate. The easiest way to check if you have a certificate is to go to
Healthlink.ie and choose Sign In and see if a Healthlink Cert for your clinic pops up. If not, contact Healthlink.
