REGIONAL STAY-AT-HOME ORDER
 • Southern California remains under Stay-at-Home order; four-week ICU capacity
projections do not meet criteria to exit order.
    • Mono County continues to see high rates of transmission
    • Week ending 1/9: Case rate 111.5/100,000 – highest yet (second only to San Benito County)

    • Central Valley and Bay Area static, Sacramento area eligible to exit RSAHO 1/12
    • Los Angeles, San Bernardino and Riverside continue to struggle
         • LA testing at high rate; positivity well below state average; but severe hospital impacts
            continue
    • R factor region 0.98 and state 0.95 encouraging
    • Statewide positivity rate remains high at 12%

BLUEPRINT FOR A SAFER ECONOMY
• Mono County is currently in the Purple Tier
• Counties are assigned a tier based on two
metrics: test positivity and case rate
• If the county exceeds weekly case
numbers based on its population and tier
for two consecutive weeks, it will be
required to move to a more restrictive tier
  (18.4% /111.5)
STATE OF CALIFORNIA LAUNCHES
SAFE SCHOOLS FOR ALL HUB https://schools.covid19.ca.gov/

• California's Safe Schools for All Plan provides the support and accountability to establish a clear path
to minimize in-school transmissions and enable, first, a phased return to in-person instruction, and
  then ongoing safe in-person instruction.
• Guidance states that if schools have not re-opened, Grades 7-12 can only open in the Red Tier
• Grades K-6 can open in the Purple Tier if the case rate is below 25 cases per 100,000/day for 5
     COVID-19
  consecutive days.
   TESTING
• Mammoth Unified IN
School District (MUSD) can only reopen for in-person Elementary School instruction
when the Mono County case rate falls below 25/100,000, and for middle and high school when we
 MONO
  attain Red COUNTY
             Tier status.
• As per the Blueprint for a Safer Economy. Schools that have already re-opened, like ESUSD (1/19) can
remain open even if the tier position worsens.
