AR/FR HI-VIS TEES
WORKER COMFORT BEGINS HERE
Our FR Control 2.0™ performance AR/FR garments offer both
proactive and reactive properties. The proactive technology works
to actively regulate skin temperature and test reports show that
perspiration is reduced by as much as 34%. Once perspiration starts,
the reactive technology will wick moisture from the skin by absorbing
and forcing it to the exterior of the fabric, away from the body where
it can then quickly evaporate. Moisture wicking is one of the most
important steps in creating a layering system.
FR CONTROL 2.0™
TEE
Some FR shirts, pants, and coveralls contain breathable and wicking
properties to create a moisture management layering system. Once
TECGEN CC™ a base layer wicks liquid away from the skin and pushes it to the
FR OUTER LAYER exterior, the moisture can become trapped or be wicked by the
primary or outer layer depending on the fabric properties of the
outer layer. A complete moisture management system features
a base layer and outer layer that wicks moisture away and can
be structured to not only provide increased FR protection, but
increased comfort, breathability, and drying rate as well.

How do I know if I have a Class 2 or Class 3 garment?
The easiest way to tell without measuring square inches
is identifying whether the arms or legs are marked with
reflective trim.
SLEEVES WITH REFLECTIVE
TRIM = CLASS 3
In order to be Class 3, a vest, shirt or jacket MUST have
reflective material on the sleeves. The main reason for
this is to help drivers distinguish the difference between
the human form versus cones, delineators, barrels, and
other devices marking the roadway. To summarize, a
sleeveless vest cannot meet Class 3 on its own.

The ANSI 107-2015 update has added a smallest
size to Type R, roadway applications only. This
update allows smaller sized workers to have
workwear that fits them properly while still
maintaining compliance. There are multiple
hazards that must be considered when working
near moving equipment or on the road, including
garments catching onto equipment and passing
vehicles, making the new smallest size an
important addition to ANSI 107 requirements.
In terms of ergonomics, a garment that is too
large can hinder a workers’ body movements and
