Park Information
Located in 54 acres of park and woodland in close proximity to the Menai Strait, Coed Helen Holiday Park is
picturesquely nestled between town, mountain and sea. A mere stone-throw from Pont Aber swing-bridge, the
park offers our guests direct access by foot to the walled town of Caernarfon and its historic waterfront, niche
boutiques, shops and restaurants, not forgetting the magnificent Caernarfon Castle and its towering, harbour-
side ramparts. With the centre of Caernarfon only 5 minutes on foot via the Pont Aber swing-bridge you are
never too far away from civilisation.
The park itself offers a range of accommodation. Whilst the majority of the units on the park are privately
owned there are eight units available to hire; two lodges, three ‘glamping’ pods and three static caravans. Hire
is available throughout our season (1st March – 10th January) so whether it’s very refined glamping to the classic
static caravan experience or a luxury lodge all bases are covered at Coed Helen Holiday Park.
If glamping is your thing Coed Helen is amongst the select few parks in the UK to offer the Swift S-Pod 6, an
innovative living space capable of accommodating up to 6 people thanks to a cleverly raised mezzanine level.
Think luxury, think glamping pod, combine with a fully-fitted kitchen and a large shower room. Wall-to-ceiling
glass offers an unrestricted vista over rolling countryside to the foothills of Snowdonia. With French doors,
private decking, patio and outdoor seating be among the first to experience these ultra-modern glamping pods.
Venture further afield and a myriad treks and trails in the Snowdonia National Park await. For those seeking
adrenaline-fueled thrills attractions such as ZipWorld, Bounce-Below and Surf Snowdonia are close-by. If you
prefer the more serene, a visit to Aber Falls at Abergwyngregyn may well be in order. When all the above is
ticked off the vacation bucket-list, all you have left to do is scale the summit of Snowdon itself (train from
Llanberis optional!).
With its coastal location close to Anglesey, Caernarfon is an ideal base for all major routes along the North
Wales Coast or for a drive inland towards the heights of Snowdonia. Whether Pen-y-Pass or Portmerion,
Beddgelert or Betws-y-Coed, by our estimation an approximate 30 minutes car journey should have pretty
much all destinations of merit and interest covered on the mainland or the Isle of Angelsey.
The park offers all holiday rental guests full access to all our on-site facilities including park-wide Wi-Fi, our
fitness room and outdoor heated swimming pool*.
*Please be aware that our outdoor pool is open 1st April to 30th September. We make every effort to have the
pool available for October half-term but cannot guarantee this. Both early and late in the season in case of
inclement weather the pool may remain covered/closed. If the weather is very poor the pool may well be closed
entirely in April and October. You have our assurances however that we will always endeavor to have the pool
available to you.

From contemporary glamping units to the traditional caravanning experience, at Coed Helen we offer a variety
of rentals for your holiday or short break

Introduced to Coed Helen in 2019
our Swift S-Pod 6 units offer an

Beyond our glamping pods perhaps
consider either Helens Lodge or The
Folly? Our luxury woodland lodges
offer both spacious and sumptuous
accommodation for up to 6. In
addition to the two twin rooms the
master double even offers a private
ensuite shower room and personal
dressing room too! This is
accompanied by a family bathroom
and large open-plan kitchen dinner
with patio doors to your private deck.
Alternatively, why not stay with us in
one of our Swift Atlantique static
vans. As with all our self-catering
holiday rentals here at Coed Helen
there is space for 6 people, with
quality fixtures and fittings abound.
The vans are subtly decorated
throughout and, with large external
decking on which to watch the world
go by, your Atlantique is sure to
provide you with a classic yet
contemporary caravanning holiday
experience.

Booking Basics
All hire unit reservations will have access to our heated outdoor swimming pool (April-September, weather
permitting!) and fitness room as well as our park-wide Wi-Fi network. We ask that you report all incidents of
breakage, damage or spillage to us so that we may address and amicably resolve such matters.
We have one pet-friendly unit, a Swift Atlantique static caravan. A charge of £40 is applied regardless of stay
duration to bookings including a canine companion of small to medium size. Larger breeds are unfortunately
not permitted. For clarification please contact us directly to avoid issues at check-in.
On your day of arrival please check-in between 3pm-9pm (for arrival after 5pm please make prior arrangements
directly with Reception). For arrivals after 5pm your check-in pack and accommodation key will be at Molly’s
bar and restaurant adjacent to our reception. Check-in after 9:30pm is not accepted. On your day of departure
check out is required by 10:30am at the latest.
Detailed booking conditions and terms for the rental will be provided within your booking confirmation at the
time of booking. Please familiarise yourself with these as they form the basis of the rental agreement between
both us, that is Coed Helen Holiday Park, and you, our guest. Please note that significant breaches of this
agreement may result in us asking you to vacate both accommodation and park prior to your scheduled
departure date.
Deposits, Payments and Cancellations
All payments made to us for your reservation are non-refundable but are in-part transferable for us against an
alternative stay date should your travel plans change due to any unforeseen circumstance.
A deposit of 25% is required upon booking to secure your reservation with us. Your booking confirmation will
be issued to the email address provided at the time of booking and upon receipt of deposit payment.
In the event of cancellation for whatever reason outside of our cancellation period your 25% deposit is non-
refundable but is transferable. As such in the event of cancellation a deposit can be redeemed for use on an
stay of your choosing on an alternative date in the future.
We operate a 28-day policy in respect to cancellation, with full payment due 28 days prior to arrival or sooner.
Any booking cancelled within 28-days of arrival will forgo the 75% balance payment but you will again be able
to redeem the withheld 25% deposit amount against a future stay with us.
