Culminating a Frozen Winter Wonderland Holiday Season
Travel trade partners offer exclusive vacation packages for heralding in the new year
(HONG KONG, Oct 30, 2019) Hong Kong Disneyland Resort (HKDL) will host a Disney New Year’s Eve
Countdown Party on December 31, 2019, inviting guests and their loved ones to herald in 2020 with
Mickey and friends. Exciting performances will mesmerize guests as they step into the New Year with
hope and wonder. Marvel Super Heroes will also stop by the party to make sure everyone’s New Year
is super. Countdown to 2020 as DJs spin favorite songs and guests eat, drink, dance and be merry!
The momentous countdown party marks the culmination of the heart-warming Christmas
celebration, A Disney Christmas, from November 14, 2019 through January 1, 2020, starring the
beloved royal sisters from Arendelle, Anna and Elsa.
Special travel packages will be available to inspire guests from the
region to join together to happily ring in 2020 with friends and family.
Guests who purchase New Year’s Eve package will also receive a Disney
New Year’s Eve Countdown Party Mickey headband and pin, along with
food & beverage tokens.
With Walt Disney Animation Studios’ Frozen 2 gracing screens this winter, Anna and Elsa will be
bringing the magic of Arendelle to make this Christmas truly unforgettable at HKDL! Be immersed in
a winter wonderland at the “Frozen Fantasy Gardens Village,” where Anna, Elsa and their best pal,
Olaf, will enchant guests this festive season. Don’t miss their appearance at the amazing “A Magical
Frozen Snowfall,” during which guests can revel in the magic of their favorite songs from Frozen.
Party with Mickey to ring in the new decade
HKDL is hosting Disney New Year’s Eve Countdown Party to mark the
beginning of the new year, as well as the new decade of the 2020s.
The Castle Hub Stage will be transformed into a festive party area,
and Mickey Mouse will take part in a spectacular percussion
performance. There will also be live performances by Disney singers
and dancers to keep everyone on their feet dancing the night away.
Guests are welcome to put on their Mickey headbands and join the
party.
The fun continues in Tomorrowland, where guests will see jaw-
dropping magic tricks and listen to DJ and the Jammitors keep the
beat pumping. And, to top it all off, Marvel fans will get a chance to
meet some of their favorite Super Heroes, as well as enjoy delightful
food and beverage offerings. Just before midnight, Mickey and Super
Heroes will invite guests to gather around the Castle Hub Stage and Tomorrowland’s stage for the
dramatic countdown. This is the first party of 2020 that guests should not miss!
Welcome 2020 with a delightful feast
A highlight of the festivities is a delightful feast of 65 food and
beverage items at the New Year’s Eve Countdown party to
welcome the new year! Guests can kick start their very own
gastronomic journey with sumptuous international dishes
including Japanese Oden, Korean Bulgogi Pizza, and a German
Mixed Sausage Platter available at restaurants on Main Street,
U.S.A. and Tomorrowland. How better to brighten up the
countdown celebration than by trying an extensive range of
mouth-watering 2020-themed delicacies, like the Hokkaido Milk
soft cream ice-cream with iconic Mickey ears and complete with New Year decorations.
To add a wonderful sparkle to the magical countdown moment,
don’t forget to grab a glass of red, white or sparkling wine to
celebrate with friends. There are also themed non-alcoholic special
drinks like Energy, SMILE, JOYFUL and DREAM, available to ring in the
New Year. Those with a sweet tooth should not miss the all-you-can-
eat-and-drink Mickey Dessert Buffet at the Main Street Corner Cafe
Hosted by Coca-Cola®, where you can celebrate the start of 2020
with the sweetest happiness. In addition, each guest who books a
travel package will be entitled to 3 food & beverage tokens, with a total value of HKD105, to enjoy
the New Year feast with their loved ones.
Be immersed into a dazzling Frozen Christmas filled with the magic of Arendelle
Guests joining the New Year’s Eve Countdown can also enjoy the
Frozen festive celebration at HKDL. Fantasy Gardens at Fantasyland
will be transformed into “Frozen Fantasy Gardens Village” for
guests to step into an awe-inspiring winter wonderland that will be
adorned with snowy, illuminated sights to take stunning
photographs and create special moments. Anna and Elsa from
Frozen 2 will charm guests with wintery glamour as they bring the
magic and royal celebrations from their kingdom for everyone to

experience in late November. Feast on various Frozen-themed
snacks and shop for special merchandise for an absolute Frozen
Christmas experience!
Feel the warmth and whimsy of
Christmas with Anna and Elsa who
appear at “A Magical Frozen Snowfall”.
As dusk falls on the Resort, a citizen of Arendelle will announce the arrival
of Princess Anna. A series of performers will lead a royal processional for
Anna. They will then be joined by Olaf, who will make a comical arrival!
Queen Elsa will join everyone and cast her magic to make beautiful white
snow magically fall in front of guests’ eyes. Guests will be mesmerized by
Arendelle’s royals and can capture winter-perfect moments.
Swing into the Christmas Spirit with beloved Mickey and Friends
Classic Christmas celebrations, well-loved festive activities and magical moments will delight guests
of all ages. The Castle Hub Stage will once again be transformed into a Christmas wonderland to host
the “Mickey and Friends Christmastime Ball”, a fantastic yuletide musical celebration in which
beloved Disney characters will take the stage to spread holiday joy through songs, dance and magic!
Mickey and his pals as well as the Duffy and Friends can’t wait to hear guests’ Christmas wishes and
share their own Christmas dreams. Join the Christmastime Ball and in tradition, make Christmas
wishes together under a beautiful snowfall!
Be the first to celebrate and take memorable
Christmas photos with Santa Mickey at The Annex as
he makes his debut at HKDL! Mail personalized
Christmas wishes to loved ones all around the world
with newly-designed collectible postcards at Santa
Mickey’s Holiday Wishes Mailbox. Greet Santa Stitch
in Tomorrowland where he will be giving cuddly hugs
to guests that visit Comet Cafe. Be sure to say hello to
Mickey and his pals as well as Duffy and friends, all in
their stunning brand new winter outfits.
The party continues at night with “A Holiday Wish-Come-True Tree
Lighting Ceremony”, during which the iconic Christmas Tree on Main
Street, U.S.A. lights up amid a medley of Christmas carols, along with
a magical snowfall. And the magic doesn’t stop there, Santa Goofy,
carolers and lantern carriers will round off a perfect day of Christmas
celebrations with a heartwarming serenade at “A Holiday Kiss
Goodnight”

Shop extensive gift collection for the season of giving
Shopping for the festive season at the resort will be a sumptuous experience in its own right, with
over 300 holiday-themed items, guests can find gifts for loved ones and add to personal collections.
Guests can keep the Christmas spirit alive with a selection of more than 90 Frozen-themed merchandise items,
while young guests can add soft and stunning Arendelle Aqua-colored collection items to their wardrobe or
décor. A new Duffy and Friends-themed collection will help further spread Christmas cheer.
Indulgent food and beverage treats lift festive spirit
Throughout A Disney Christmas and Disney New Year’s Eve
Countdown Party!, Disney’s unique Food and Beverage
experiences will let guests indulge with no limits. More than 70
food and beverage delights will be presented on the festive menus
for elaborate dining or snacking. Enjoy Premium Sausages Platters
and Mini Snacks Boxes, or munch on popcorn in new Mickey
Christmas Tree and Alien popcorn buckets. Bring loved ones
together for a Christmas Dinner Buffet at Royal Banquet Hall,
where delicious Christmas meals will add to the warmth of the
season.
Family and friends can also enjoy Christmas dining at HKDL’s hotels
for a complete resort experience. Get a taste of mouth-watering
fusion cuisine at World of Color Restaurant in Disney Explorers
Lodge with a Christmas Colorful Semi-Buffet dinner await. At
Enchanted Garden Restaurant in Hong Kong Disneyland Hotel, indulge in a magical Christmas Buffet
with your favorite Disney characters. Guests can also enjoy an exquisite Christmas and New Year’s
Eve Set Dinner and sip on a delightful Snow Time drink at Walt’s Cafe.
