NAINA 2020 Leadership Conference
Conference Overview and Target Audience

This conference is designed for all professionals in healthcare and healthcare
students. The overall purpose is to augment the knowledge, understanding and
appreciation of self-care, workplace safety, and resilience for nurses and other
healthcare professionals. It will highlight the significance of the nurses’ roles
from the bedside to the boardroom and to appreciate their leadership in promoting
health for themselves and others to build a healthy nation.
Educational Credits:

Participants may earn up to 6.5 Contact Hours.

National Association of Indian Nurses of America is accredited as a provider of
nursing continuing professional development by the American Nurses
Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation. Provider Number P 0584

Objectives:

Upon completion of the activity, participants will be able to:

   • Identify the impact of workplace violence and interpret workplace safety
      practices in relation to nurses’ health
   • Participate in activities that enhance resilience in healthcare
   • Explore the five domains of Healthy nurse, Healthy Nation.TM
   • Discuss the strategies to maintain a balance of personal and professional
      well-being
   • Describe the significance and actions for being a healthy nurse in creating a
