PRODUCT CATALOG Kenya July 2020
Established in 2018. Mugavoo is a woodworking company
based in Kampala. Uganda. We are inspired by simplistic,
modern designs and we thrive to provide beautiful, well
produced pieces for our customers.
Our model started as and continues to be:
1. Share a picture.
2. Get a quotation.
3. We make it
Over the years our catalog has grown vastly and
customers are able to order all the items we have
previously made.
Our name Mugavoo is derived from the tree species Albizia
coriaria locally known as Mugavu, a hard wood which has
a beautiful gold and luminous appearance and is one of
our favorite timbers to use for our products. At Mugavoo
we want you to have irreplaceable furniture that lasts a
lifetime.
Before you begin let’s talk Hardwood: $$$$$ Sudan Teak, Teak, Muvule – Very scarce timbers. Light colour hardwood they come out exceptionally well on furniture. Available on request. Prices for these vary and we’ll need to price on request. $$$ Mugavu – Readily available. Beautiful Hardwood, golden brown in light, and dark brown in low lighting. Our favorite wood type. Same price as Mahogany. $$$ Mahogany – Imported and readily available. Beautiful light coloured hardwood, with a silky smooth finish. If you see a Mugavu wood product, the same product in Mahogany is the same price. $$ Nkarati – Readily available. The least expensive of the bunch. Mainly used for outdoor furniture. Ideal when staining is desired like coffee brown or black. Naturally it gets a yellowish color with age.
Understanding the products. Products are priced as pictured. If you wish to have the smaller or bigger we will revise the price accordingly. We are currently working on inputting all the dimensions in the catalog to guide you. For now, just ask and we’ll share the dimensions. Prices are inclusive of Taxes and Delivery withi n Nairobi. We use the official administrative boun daries of Nairobi to establish the delivery zone. For additional pictures simply search for Mugavoo and the name of the product in Facebook. Ex. ‘Mugavoo Crown Sofa’ If you wish to have a specific piece in your space, please share the exact measurements of the space. Pictures and videos are also welcome for us to revise the price to your order. We are happy to arrange a tele or online consultation if you want to discuss different designs and products. Hardwood is heavy and sometimes big so it’s important to be sure the piece you wish to order can be delivered through the staircase, elevators and other barriers around your space. Thank you, Ken

• All our items are produced on order. An order is confir
med upon receipt of a 70% deposit.
• Lead times – Delivery will usually be between 4-8 we
eks depending on the item/items ordered. We plan on
having at least one shipment to Nairobi monthly. Dep
ending on the production time of your order we will co
mmunicate when to expect your order.
• Hardwood is heavy and sometimes big so it’s importa
nt to be sure the piece you wish to order can be deliv
ered through steps, elevators and other barriers.
