     Posting Guidelines & Best Practices
    In our research and testing the following guidelines produces more ads staying live.

Run Ccleaner and reset your IP Address between switching
accounts

No special characters in Title and Body. No hearts, stars,

smiley face ect.

Do Not Duplicate Ads! Change the titles and body slightly or
reword the ad a little

No HTML or use it very sparingly

If you wish to include a website the suggestion is to buy a
few domains and forward them to your site. Rotate out those
forwarding them to your site. Rotate out those forwarding
domains in your posting or use and obscure URL Shortener.

Space out your posting and post no more than 10 ads per
account

6 per day to start for a week then up to 10 a day per acct
spread them out over 2

3 postings during the day

Post in the right section to avoid ads getting flagged.

   I like to promote “free” type offers via Craigslist. Why? Because
the beauty of CPA is that you don’t have to rely on “impulse buys”…
people only need to perform an action and you get paid. They don’t
have to BUY anything.

  With Clickbank/Affiliate products it’s good to have a website
review site/squeeze page to collect leads. One of the great things
about Craigslist you have a better chance than with articles or other
types of marketing, since people searching Craigslist are typically
looking to purchase whatever item they’re looking for right away or
very soon.

The Posting Method

   This method is “Gray Hat” because it is somewhat frowned upon
by CPA networks as well as Craigslist, however, it is a great
loophole and it still earns me great money. It is also NOT ILLEGAL
and therefore it is not entirely Black Hat nor is it illegal so you aren’t
risking trouble in that regard. The traffic is NOT SEEN as coming
from Craigslist since you are using a redirect from a URL shortening
service or your own domain… You’ll see what I mean.

   The thing about marketing on Craigslist …. CPA networks frown
on it because the way most people go about it is by emailing
(spamming) people that have ads on Craigslist.

  But many things online are “gray hat” like this, even SEO itself is
Black/Gray Hat, as Google does not want people gaming or
manipulating their search engine!

   Also, I find this to be ethically sound, because they are REAL,
targeted leads. Real people who are interested in these offers. They
are not “fake” leads… No one is getting “screwed” on the deal.

  The Main MethodIt’s very simple. You pick an offer to promote
(CPA or any product/service as an Affiliate) and you post an ad on
Craigslist. Now you might think this is something that everyone
knows about, but it’s not… Read on…

  We are going to combine “direct linking” along with Craigslist
advertising and CPA marketing.

You basically choose a CPA offer to promote, get your affiliate link,
shorten it using a secret shortening service that not many people
know about… And then post an ad on Craigslist with your shortened
link that goes DIRECTLY to your CPA offer. Then someone enters
their zip code or email address, etc. and you get paid!

   If you try to put your MaxBounty or other affiliate link or
something like that in your ad, Craigslist won’t let you. They will
stop you before you can even finish posting and tell you there is a
promotional URL in the ad that you must remove. However, when
you shorten it with this special URL shortening website… your
Craigslist ad will be approved and you will get INSTANT TRAFFIC
to your CPA offer!

   Try to avoid offers that specifically say “No Craigslist”
advertising just to be safe. However, when you do the re-direct from
the shortened URL, it becomes very difficult for the CPA network to
find out that your traffic came from Craigslist, since it came from the
URL shortening service.

  HOW TO DO IT:

        Choose a CPA or Affiliate Offer
        Get your Affiliate Link “Tracking Link” and copy it
        Go to www.myurl.in OR http://re.po.st
        Shorten your affiliate link to an “myurl” link by pasting it in
the text box
        Go to Craigslist.org
        Post an ad in the appropriate “For Sale” sub-category
        (For the FREE iPhone 4S offer – that would go in the “cell
phones” category)
        Put your shortened link in the ad so they can click on it and

participate in your offer!

  THE SECRET TRICK:

  The secret trick to making this work is the link. You CANNOT
USE COMMON URL shortening sites like Bit.ly, Ow.ly or AltUrl –
Because Craigslist knows about them and will not allow links from
Bit.ly or many other related sites. However, they are many url
shortening services CL is not aware of.

  re.po.st and myurl.in are 2 that we currently use and have no issue
DIRECT LINKING on Craigslist!

  IMPORTANT NOTE: You can ALSO USE OTHER URL
SHORTENING SERVICES that Craigslist does NOT know about,
so that they don’t ban the “myurl” links, and we should all be
looking for other obscure URL shortening services like myurl to use.
Just because Craigslist knows about many of the common urls like
Bit.ly Myurl AltURL etc.That doesn’t mean there aren’t hundreds
more that they DON’T know about. Find them and USE them! You
can find them by doing a simple Google search for: “URL
Shortening Sites” and look for obscure ones and test them out. If you
post an add and you don’t get an error message from CL you are
good to use that url.

   You can also use YOUR OWN DOMAIN NAME. You simply use
a “Domain Forward” and redirect your domain name directly to your
affiliate link. However, when you do this, you risk having a
Craigslist Moderator (or some vigilante) look you up via WHOIS
and report you to your CPA network. You can get around this by
using the “private registration” option when you purchase a domain
name. You can get a .INFO domain name WITH private registration

from GoDaddy for less than $10 all together.

   ADDITIONAL WARNING: DO NOT USE THIS METHOD
WITH THE PEERFLY NETWORK. Your account will be banned
if you do. You have been officially warned! Other networks may or
may not do the same. Always best to check with your affiliate
manager for any compliance issues.
