Race Venue: 4 lanes, Lake Misurina, Auronzo di Cadore (BL).
Distance: 100 mt and 200 mt.
Team Categories Senior (from 19yo and up):
BCS – Pink Ladies
Women (only female paddlers)
Men (only male paddlers)
Mixed (paddlers 6 men and 4 women or in proportion 5/8 men and 3/8 women)
Social or Amateur – Women (50% +1 female)
Social or Amateur – Men (50% + 1 male)
The Drummer and the Steerer can be either male or female
The Drummer should be over 14yo.
Youth Teams (divided by ages 15-16yo/17-18 yo):
Women (50% + 1 females)
Men (50%+1 males)
The Drummer and the Steerer can be either male or female
The Drummer should be over 14yo.
The Steerer will be provided by the Organising Committee, unless requested otherwise.
Boats accepted: small Dragon Boat. The Organising Committee will provide the
participants with one set of Small Dragon boats (ICF/IDBF approved) – complete with
skates, paddles with spikes, drum and steering oar for ice.
In case of adverse weather conditions or the race venue (lake surface) is considered
unsafe, the Organising Committee reserves the right to vary the start time or suspend
the event or change the location/race distances.
Registration: should be completed using the attached forms proposed by the Organising
Committee and should be emailed to auronzodragonboat@gmail.com .
Participation in the youth categories and the relative registration fees will be
communicated in a separate bulletin. For any information prior to the release of the
bulletin, write to auronzodragonboat@gmail.com .

REGISTRATIONS OPEN: 25th OCTOBER 2019
Registration Fee, Costs and deadlines for participating in the Festival
Teams must be composed of a minimum of 8 paddlers, 1 steerer and 1 drummer.
payment of an initial caution amount of Euro 250,00 per team which will be refunded
in the days following the Festival. This sum will be non-refundable in case of
withdrawal and/or any damages;
from 25/10/2019 to 30/11/2019, Euro 20,00 per person;
from 01/12/2019 to 15/01/2020, Euro 30,00 per person;
from 16/01/2020 to 21/02/2020, Euro 40,00 per person.
The registration fee includes: Festival registration, use of boats and equipment
and insurance.

From 14:00 to 14:30 - preparations for the finals – entertainment;
From 14:30 to 16:00 - finals;
From 16:00 to 16:30 - preparation of the rankings – entertainment;
From 16:30 to 17:00 - award ceremonies.
Hot meals and sandwiches will be available from 11:00 to 16:30

The race distance of 200 mts will be realised only if the ice surface conditions permit it.
MORNING AND AFTERNOON – Team races
200 METRES
From 09:00 - teams arrive;
At 09:15 - Captain’s meeting;
From 09:15 to 10:00 - practice session;
From 10:00 to 11:30 - heats;
From 11:30 to 12:00 - preparations for the finals;
From 12:00 to 13:00 - finals;
From 13:00 to 13:30 - preparation of the rankings;
From 13:30 to 14:00 - award ceremonies.
Hot meals and sandwiches will be available from 11:00 to 16:30.
The programme may be subject to changes (in case of adverse weather, change of location etc).
Awards: 1st, 2nd and 3rd placings - for the entire team.
The Organising Committee declines all responsibility for any accidents or damages that may
occur to the participants and/or accompanying persons or that were caused by the said
persons to people or property before, during and after the event.

SERVICES
MEALS – For lunch and snacks – a food provider will be located near the regatta venue.
On Saturday 22 February 2020, dinner will be managed by a professional catering service
and reservations will be necessary. Costs and deadlines for payment is as follows:

from 25/10/2019 to 15/01/2020, Euro 40,00 per person;
from 16/01/2020 to 21/02/2020, Euro 50,00 per person.
Dinner will be served as a buffet with a combination of two servings (entree and first
course or entree and second course or first and second course) and two non-alcoholic
and/or alcoholic drinks (wine, beer).
Method and Bank details to book the Saturday night dinner (22/02/2020)
The cost of participation for the dinner SHOULD NOT BE PAID TOGETHER with the
event registration fees. IT IS POSSIBLE TO USE THE SAME BANK ACCOUNT indicated
above, but the reason should be: Nr of people ____ for the dinner on 22 February 2020 –
Team Name.
The booking for the dinner will be confirmed by the chronological arrival of the
payments because the CO. will have the right to close dinner reservations if the
numbers exceed the seating capacity of the area.
ACCOMMODATION – If you have any particular difficulties in finding accommodation,

TRANSPORT
Auronzo di Cadore and Lake Misurina are connected by a public bus service.
For those arriving by car: Auronzo is accessible from Germany (A22 and Brennero
Pass), from Austria (A23/Tarvisio), from Slovenia (A34 Gorizia or A4 Trieste) and from
Italy by taking highway A27 Venezia-Belluno;
For those who arrive by plane: the closest airports are Treviso (126km)
www.trevisoairport.it and Venice (137km) www.veniceairport.it ;
For those who arrive by train: the closest train station is Calalzo-Pieve di
Cadore-Cortina, located 15 km from Auronzo. The closest major train station is
Venezia-Mestre.
We can assist you in organising your transfer from/to Venice and Treviso airports and
from/to the Venezia-Mestre train station.
