According to the latest WHO epidemiological report (as of 28th September), Spain’s
transmission is classified as “clusters of cases”.

Emerging COVID-19 outbreak cases in Spain are mostly localized in central and northern
areas of the country, whereas Catalonia region in the northwest has improved its
epidemiological situation compared to late August data.

granted a COVID-19 Responsible Company certification for
the implemented preventive/protective measures

PCR and antibody testing service
PCR testing conducted by local health authorities’ appointed laboratories is available for
employees, clients and visitors as required upon return to their home countries. Tests can be
conducted at IDIADA and results will be ready within 24h – 48h
Additionally, as part of the internal safety
protocols, IDIADA operates an antibody test
service available to all employees, clients and
visitors

Spanish borders are open to EU/Schengen members and the UK
• Quarantine periods are not currently
required for EU/Schengen visitors to
Spain, although some countries may ask
travellers to provide a negative PCR test or
to self-isolate upon their return
• Although teleworking is encouraged
whenever possible, employees, clients
and visitors coming from these countries
will be able to visit and work at IDIADA HQ
facilities

Restrictions to travellers coming from non-EU/Schengen countries is constantly being
reviewed.
Main factors that will influence the reopening/closure of borders to passengers coming from
these countries are:
• The progressive improvement/worsening of the epidemiological situation in each
specific country compared to the EU’s
• The reciprocal enforcement of the end of travel restrictions
Passengers allowed to travel may still be subject to health and safety checks in the
country of origin, en-route and in the country of destination

the 22nd of July:

The Vatican
When coming from the aforementioned countries, it is advisable to confirm with the
relevant consulate and airline company that there are no restrictions to enter into Spain

Complete and present the FCS authorization form upon arrival (official app available via

A contactless entry system and a body thermometer have been enforced at access control
Employees and visitors who show symptoms (cough, fever, breathing difficulties) are not
allowed to enter

IDIADA’s facilities and workshops are cleaned and sanitized using special products that
offer protection against microorganisms for 24 hours after application

Workshop offices have been reorganized in order to ensure social distancing of at least
1.5 metres

Visits to specific facilities are restricted and face-to-face meetings that do not allow a

offices guarantees social distancing of at least 1.5 metres
