   self-worth.
I believe that not always trying your best isn't
necessarily being lazy. I would argue that taking a
break once in a while improves efficiency and
increases productivity in doing what matters to us.
As an analogy, think of a glass of water. If you keep
pouring water into the glass, it will eventually
overflow, and the water goes to waste. In doing this,
we forget why we are pouring water in the first
place: to drink the water, of course (unless you're a
koala - yes, koalas don't need to drink water, but
they still need to eat their special leaves for
moisture to survive)! If you stop pouring for a
moment and take the time to drink it, it frees up the
limited space the glass has. However, if you don't
pour any water into the glass, you won't ever get
hydrated (this time, koalas are included). In this
analogy, the water we pour is our continuous input
of effort we spend doing something; the glass is the
maximum storage our mind and body can handle.
The water we end up drinking at the end is what
matters the most to us to keep our body functioning
   and continue pouring.

sleep." And finally, the fourth stage: REM sleep.
During this period, the body is more relaxed while
the brain becomes more active. Also, the eyes start
to move rapidly, and dreams would occur at this
time. Researches show that people usually spend
around 20 percent of their sleep in this stage.
There is also a sequence of these stages. When you
go to bed, NREM stage 1 will occur first, followed
by stage 2 and 3. This whole process mentioned
above would take about 90 minutes before you get
into REM sleep. And when the first REM sleep
(stage 4) starts, it would last for about 10 minutes
(later on, the following REM sleep would always
last longer than the previous one, and the last REM
sleep can last for one hour) and go back to NREM
stage 2 to repeat the process.
