Institutional Citation Report

Analyze research output and impact at the institutional level
Institutional Citation Report is an easy-to-use bibliographic database of an institution's
journal articles in the sciences, social sciences, and humanities.

For each paper indexed, this resource provides you with comprehensive bibliographic information,
including abstracts, keywords, and citation counts. It offers the value-added metrics that provide
the basis for benchmarking, ranking, and evaluating your institution's research performance.

Institutional Citation Report
helps you make rational, informed decisions…
… by providing a wide variety of analysis options
The Research Services Group data — and database structure — provide you with a combination
of comprehensive bibliographic data and value-added metrics that enable you to conduct
virtually any type of analysis of research performance.

Evaluate research at your institution
What are your institution's most highly cited papers within each field? Which departments
and authors are generating this premier research? Discover where high-impact, influential
research is being conducted within your institution.

Identify potential sources for collaboration and funding

Comprehensive bibliographic data and value-added

      Conduct in-depth and customized analyses
      of institutional performance and productivity
This valuable analytical data is derived from publication and citation statistics
compiled by Thomson Scientific. Your dataset is created specifically for your
institution, fully covering its research output and impact.

Institutional Citation Report restructures Thomson Scientific bibliographic
and citation data into a relational database format that enables you to
easily manipulate the data and conduct quantitative analyses of the
scientific literature. This data can also serve as an authority file for your
      Institutional Repository.

Instead of merely retrieving information, you can systematically analyze
research activity and performance. Anyone who needs to monitor and
assess research performance — institutional decision makers, such as
administrators, research planners and program managers — can benefit
from this objective, analytical approach to scholarly data.

      An easy-to-use interface provides users
      with quick access to data
Institutional Citation Report provides more than just data. It offers a
sophisticated yet easy-to-use interface that helps you utilize and analyze
the information. With the Xite interface, users do not have to write their
own queries or be familiar with relational databases. The data is already
summarized and organized, freeing users to view it at a detailed or
summary level and easily conduct the necessary analyses.

                                                                                          The interface provides
