It is our great honor and pleasure to invite you and your team to par-
tecipate at the International “Kim e Liù" - Italy Open 2019.
The championships will be held in the city of Rome on June 08-09
2019.
All competition area’s will be equipped with a full electronic score
system.
Please mark our event in your calendar and make sure not to miss
this high-level quality championship.
We hope that you and your team will partecipate at the International
Kim e Liù 2019 and we are looking forward to welcome in the city of
Rome.

2. PLACE AND DATE
2.1 Rome

2.2 June 08-09 2019 (Saturday and Sunday)
3. Contestants
3.1 Membership: all participants (Athletes and Officials) must be member of a National
Taekwondo Federation (World Taekwondo Europe)
Each athlete must present a valid national ID card or international passport at the
weight-in in order to prove their identity, as well as a photocopy (or the original) of their
last technical grade diploma (document)
3.2 Categories:
Group A: male and female (head contact with headgear and face mask)
-27, -30, -33 -37, -41, 45, -49, -53, -57, +57 kg
Group B: male and female (NO head contact)
-21, 24, -27, -30, -33, -37, -41, -45, -49, +49kg
Group C: male and female (NO head contact)
-17, -20, -23, -26,-29, -33, -37, -41, -44, +44 kg
3.3 Age
Group A competitors: born in 2008 - 2009
Group B competitors: born in 2010 - 2011
Group C competitors: born in 2012 - 2013
3.4 Graduation
Each group will be divided into the followings belts:
White and Yellow (10th kup to 7th)
Green and Blue (6th kup to 3rd)
Red and Poom (2nd kup to Poom)
4. Rules
Italian Taekwondo Federation - Viale Tiziano 70, 00196 Rome4.1 Mode: Single elimination tournament system
Elimination rounds and finals:
• 3 x 1 min. (Group A)
• 2 x 1 min. (Group B and C)
4.2 Awards: 1st, 2nd and two 3rd places will be awarded
4.3 Hall Rules: Only the competitors and their coaches will have admittance
One (1) for every four (4) competitors.
4.4 Equipment: Daedo WT-recognized PSS and Headgear with face mask shall be
provided for all competition areas and all weight divisions.
Headgear without face mask, groin, forearm, shin, mouthpiece and gloves will be
brought by the contestants, which is compulsory. Sensor socks will not be provided by
the organization team and must be purchased by each competitor. WT recognized
uniform and protective equipment
4.5 Liability: all competitors are considered to partecipate at their own risk.
The Italian Taekwondo Federation assume no responsibility for any damages, injuries or
losses. Due circumstances the organization committee can decide to adjust the compe-
tition.
All contestants must bring their own documents and forms for any medical
treatment in Italy
5. Weight-In
The European Clubs will have to effect the weight operations in their own country from
May 28tst May to June 2nd.
The Operations will have to be done by a referee of its national federation which will
have to fill the attached form out at the bottom of the page with the signature and the
MNA stamp. (please find the weigh-in form in the last page)

The Fita Clubs (italian clubs) will have to contact to their own regional committee which
will organize the weight operations from May 28tst May to June 2nd.

8:30: Start of matches for: Group A competitors (born in 2008 - 2009)
13:00 - 13:30: Lunch Break
13:30: Second part of the competition (incl. semi-finals and finals)

8:00: Technical Conference for all coaches (heads of team)
8:30: Start of matches for: Group B competitors (born in 2010 - 2011)
and Group C competitors (born in 2012 - 2013)

7. Entry
7.1 Registration: Taekoplan Tournament Subscription

7.2 Deadline: May 21, 2019 Entries after deadline will not be accepted
7.3 Procedure: Application is only valid when payment has been done at the same time
of registration. If the athlete registered on-line (http://www.tpss.nl) does not take part in
the competition, but he/she has not been removed from the list of participants before
the deadline (May 21, 2019) his/her team or official must fully (100%) pay his/her Entry
fee for participation.
Entry fee is not refundable at any time after the deadline!
7.4 Entry & Payments 20 € for each contestant
All fees must be paid in Euro
All payments must be done by team (individual payment is not allowed)
