CAROLS CANDID CONUNDRUMS
Covid 19 is continuing to cause as much disruption as we start
2021; our AGM 6 th March will now be a virtual one on Zoom, a
new challenge for the committee. If members wish to be part of
this they need to contact our secretary Linda Dyer by email as
per the notification in the newsletter. Please note spaces are
limited. If you are interested in joining the committee please
also send proposals to Linda

As a committee we look forward to our meets being able to go
ahead as soon as the C&CC will let us. Robert has been busy
booking sites for the year. We did have some lovely meets last
year and I am sure we will all be meeting in a field somewhere
in the spring.

Until then Take Care and Stay Safe hope you all get your
vaccinations soon.

Tribute to Reg Martin
It was with much sadness we
heard of Reg’s death after a hard
fought battle with Cancer. Reg
was a sterling supporter of
Somerset DA he worked tirelessly
on committee as PRO promoting
and supporting the DA. Reg and
Kath came as a team supporting
our THS at Brassnocker and The
Beehive, offering a hand and
advice with a wealth of
information from his many years
of camping and caravanning. Always happy behind his keyboard
entertaining our members and visitors at many of our meets.

He has left us all remembering a huge personality and friend
who will be greatly missed We send our love and support to

Temperance
Temperance Lady: Do you drink beer?
Drinking Man: Yes.

Temperance Lady: How many per day?
Man: 3

Lady: How much do you pay for a beer?
Man: About £3.60

Lady: How long have you been drinking?
Man: about 20 years.

Lady: 3 beers a day equates to £330 per month or nearly
£4,000 per year. In 20 years that would add up to £80,000
Man: sounds about right.

Lady: Did you know that if you put that into a savings account,
after interest, you’d soon have enough to buy a small plane?

Man: Do you drink beer?
Lady: No, of course not.

Man: So where’s your plane?

Two cowboys are lost in the desert. One cowboy sees a tree
that’s draped in bacon “A bacon tree! We’re saved” he says. He
runs to the tree and gets shot.
It wasn’t a bacon tree, it was a ham bush.

Jokes
Some of the jokes for this issue were supplied by Robert
Harrisson and Keith Dyer. For the rest, you can blame me.

I’m going to hang a map of the UK in my house. Then I’m going
to put pins into all the locations that I’ve travelled to in my
motorhome.

First, I’m going to have to travel to the top two corners of the
map, so it won’t fall off the wall.

The vicar called in the other day, he asked if I ever wonder
about the ‘Hereafter’.

“I do,” I said, “constantly. Wherever I am, the thought keeps
coming to me; Now what was I here after?”

BREAKING NEWS Someone has collapsed on the London eye,
Paramedics on the scene report that they are coming around
slowly.

I came close to winning the lottery this week.......the bloke next
door won it.
