Principal Message
Dear Parents , Students , Teachers and Well Wishers,
I hope you are in good health and safe in the midst of this pandemic.
As you all are aware that the past couple of months have been quite a tough
me for all of us. It has been full of fear and uncertainty for the en re humanity.
Though this disease has made us live at a distance physically but emo onally
we all have come closer than ever before. And in a similar manner, we have to
keep suppor ng each other in the days to come, be the family members,
members of our community, our fellow humans around us. I wish that the
coming up fes ve season will bring new hope and a fresh start in our life.
Hence, I would like to express my sincere wishes to you on the
occasion of Rakshabandhan. May this auspicious fes val brings immense
happiness, love and good health to you and your family. On the whole , we are
all together in this economic, social and human crisis. And this too shall pass.
Therefore, be healthy, be safe and take all necessary safety measures.
I am very sure you will appreciate July month edi on of Sanskarsetu and will

Online Live Demonstra on of Science Ac vi es
(Light: Proper es and Beyond)
Teaching and learning of Physics has fascinated educators because of the
various possibili es that the students can come up with. Hands on
experiments and interac ve student engagement are a proven way to
improve student learning and concept reten on. Keeping this thing in our
mind we have organized our 5th online demonstra on of Science ac vi es on
the topic Light: Proper es and Beyond for our school students and teachers.
The session was also streamed live on You Tube.

Training on the topic ‘The Basics of Aurdino’
Arduino is an open source micro-controller which can be used as a
development board for hundreds and thousands of projects. It is the best
choice of the students who want to start learning about micro-controllers
and electronics. To give our students an opportunity, online training on ‘The
Basics of Aurdino’ was organized for 4 students and 2 teachers. The spoke
person was Mr.Raj Hakani, Prof. GTU, Ahmedabad. It was a 15 days workshop.

Virtual Teaching Techniques by Shree Krishna Educare
The Covid-19 has affected the educa on system. With a sudden shi to
digital classrooms, teachers have to go an extra mile to ensure that Students
con nue to learn the quality of educa on is not hampered. So, to make our
teachers more acquainted with digital pla orm, we encouraged our teachers
to a end a webinar organized by Shree Krishna Educare in which the features
and func ons of Microso Teams, Google Meet and Zoom were explained by
the resource person.

Microso training for Higher Secondary teachers
E-learning is playing very important role in the present educa onal scenario.
Informa on and communica on technology has opened a new sky to make
educa on more interes ng, flexible and broader. We have chosen Microso
Teams as our partner in the journey of E-learning. An online training session
was organised for Higher Secondary teachers to make them acquainted with
this digital pla orm. This so ware is likely to assist the effec ve
implementa on of e-learning and make the process of sharing knowledge
easier and faster(Training was given by Mr. Deepak Panchal).

SPACE Surat offered a wonderful opportunity for students to learn exci ng
and new concepts of astronomy and space sciences, by hands-on learning
and ac vi es. It is an interna onal educa onal program of NASA through
which students get opportunity to click stunning images of earth. We are
very proud to announce that our four students were selected to take part in
this pres gious online workshop.

Introducing the NTSE Preparatory Course for Class 9 & 10
NTSE is a talent based Na onal Level scholarship program in India to iden fy
and nurture talented students. It honours and helps talented students by
providing financial assistance. It is widely regarded as the most pres gious
examina on at high school level in India. To prepare our students for this
esteemed exam we have ini ated the preparatory classes for enhancing their
knowledge and applica ons of the conceptual knowledge of the syllabus up
to class X.

BRICS Math Online Compe on
BRICS Math Online Compe on is an annual online compe on being
organized in Mathema cs, for students of classes I-XII for BRICS countries
(Brazil, China Indonesia, Russia, India, South Africa & Vietnam). The BRICS
Math compe on is hosted by the educa onal pla orm dragonlearn.in.
It empower students to develop out of the box thinking skills. The inten on
behind the par cipa on is to cul vate an interest in Mathema cs and
develop logical reasoning skills. ASE feel proud to announce that our 145
students had registered for this exam and out of which 87 students completed
the First Round(Preparatory Round) and awarded with E- Cer ficates.

Webinar on 'Reopening Schools Safely'
Popcorn Furniture, India's largest educa onal furniture manufacturing
company, held a webinar on 'Problems schools facing post-COVID-19'. The
webinar was a ended by our teachers. The session was organized to discuss
the problems and challenges, which schools are facing post lockdown.

ACM India Webinar Series on Educa on: “Computa onal
Thinking in the Mathema cs Classroom” by CS Pathshala.
To prepare our students to par cipate crea vely in the digital age, CS
Pathshala proposed an ac vity based webinar on the topic “Computa onal
Thinking in the Mathema cs Classroom”. The talk shared ideas about how to
teach the concepts of mathema cs in our day to day life. A series of case
studies was also presented that would serve to ground the ideas, and
highlight things to focus on or watch out for how to introduce these concepts
to your students.

Tree Planta on on Kargil Vijay Diwas, 26 July, 1999
It was on 26 July,1999, that the Indian Army had declared successful
culmina on of 'Opera on Vijay', declaring a victory a er a three-month long
ba le on the icy heights of Kargil. ASE students gave a true tribute and
saluted the supreme sacrifices and valour of the fallen heroes by plan ng the
saplings of different varie es at their houses.

Kargil Vijay Diwas, 26 July, 1999
India celebrated 21st Kargil Vijay Divas on 26 July 2020 to commemorate the
contribu on of our warriors. To inculcate patrio sm among people the
Government of India organised a na onal level quiz. More than 20 teachers
of ASE par cipated and awarded with e-cer ficates.

We all are aware that, the touch down of Rafale combat aircra s in India
marks the beginning of a new era in our Military History. One of our student
Vismay Patel of Class VIII A got inspired from it and made a model of Rafale.
